I grew up in Sydney, Aus, my father is diehard West Ham, originally from Essex but I grew up surrounded by West Ham, in Sydney, so it's always been part of my life...in my first year of school (in the early 80's) my class song was 'I'm forever blowing bubbles' (complete coincidence) more the Doris Day version, I only knew this version, so I sang it, the Cockney Rejects way, adding 'come on you irons', my teacher or the rest of the class had no idea what I was on about and I had no idea what they were on about, so I was a bit ostracised there...eventually recovered.
I'm a hardcore Man utd fan , i'm 50 and gone for them since I was 3, my brother is a hardcore hammers supporter so when I went to England for a wedding we went to see Westham play Fulham at Boleyn , Westham got up 3-0 it was an honor to sing this song and cheer on a legendary team
I'm Leeds through and through, no time for other clubs with the exception of the Irons. The Boleyn was a proper ground with proper fans. The team like to play decent football, and they weren't a glamour club the media liked dry bum fuck. They have never won the league but a very well respected club and passionate fans. Used to nip in to the Boleyn (pub) for a drink when we had away days for a loosener before getting 'friendly' with the locals before and after the game. Losing the Boleyn Ground must be like having your heart ripped out. Owners come and go. Players come and go and managers come and go. It is the fans that are the life blood and I hope one day the London Stadium will be close to what Uptn park was. MOT

Jeff Turner is a proper fella. No arrogance, has the true spirit of English punk, (they are a huge reason I fell in love with West Ham)
