What's the best way to transition to Graphene spray after a cured coat of Helios and Poly Seal has been applied to the vehicle? I have lots of Poly Seal and Helios (And LVR 500, and Jersey Devil). My main problem is the UV from sun here in Los Angeles, plus the 'grunge' from the condensed hydrocarbons in the air forms a thin film of grease on the vehicle during the winter. The Helios and Poly Seal cleaned things up very well to an amazing shine, but I want better UV protection that the Graphene can provide. My other problem is that I can only apply the sealants outside (the vehicle is too large for a garage), so I'm using the dilute-the-Poly-Seal-50-50-with-water trick and doing the major polishing very six months in June when it's typically overcast and then again in December. I'd like to transition to Graphene if it means I can apply it in December and then use the Poly Seal to maintain it during the year. But after a year, does one have to remove the Poly Seal before applying the Graphene for it to bond properly? And should I use something else besides the Helios (with its acrylic) to do the initial polish? Thanks.
Short answer is remove the polyseal before applying the Graphene coating. It needs a IPA or panel prep primed surface to properly bond. Helios is a great pre application polish once it’s cured. Apply the Graphene as shown in the videos, if you’re outside then do small sections each time and do it when the surface of the vehicle is as cool as possible. After application (2 coats) you can apply PolySeal as often as you need to boost and maintain the coating
@@xtreme_solutions Awesome, thank you very much. What is the shelf life of the unopened can of Graphene spray; if I was to apply in December should I order now before it freezes in transit or will it solidify in its sealed container after 6 months? Also, if a layer of Guardian was applied on top of the Helios (both are ostensibly acrylic resin) and allowed to fully cure, would that be a problem for the Graphene to adhere to after the panel prep/IPA rinse? Thanks for your time.
Graphene spray can last a year + if stored properly (room temp) Guardian on top of Graphene, Graphene needs to bind directly to the clear, acrylic is different than the amino resins in guardian. Acrylic basically imitates clear coat so the Graphene can bind to that, that’s the exception to the rule
@@xtreme_solutions OK, thanks very much for that, will do the stack in the following order in December as currently there's a stack of cured Helios and Poly Seal on the paint that was just applied last week: Also note, the following is for a single stage paint, no clearcoat; vehicle stays outside exposed to Los Angeles sun daily: 1) Let the sun UV degrade the current poly seal layer over the next 6 months 2) Polish with LVR 404 Helios and allow to cure 48 hours 3) Paint prep/IPA wash 4) Seal with Graphene Spray coat I 5) Cure 1 hour 6) Seal with Graphene Spray coat II 7) Cure for 48 hours 8) Seal with Guardian LVR 358 coat I 9) cure 48 hours 10) (opt) Seal with Guardian LVR 358 coat II 11) cure 48 hours 12)Seal with Poly Seal 13) Maintain over the year with Poly Seal every 3 months & Jersey Devil monthly
The depth to that polyseal is unreal. It's like ink! Glad I ordered some the other day with my mystery box. Your products have been honestly amazing this far. Love 403, 358, and 385 as are just an amazing combination.
It’s not the sio2 on top of Graphene it’s the benefit of the wax properties PolySeal gives you Graphene for protection PolySeal for depth slickness and gloss
Graphene coating will be more durable than the PolySeal. Both will last 3 months without being taken care of. If you maintain them we’ve had detailers make them last a year.
My vehicle has as follows: lv403-poly seal-topper. Could I use the graphene on top? Or do I have strip was and use it as a base coat before poly seal. Thanks
It almost seems that Polly seal and topper could be layered on top of the new graphine spray and become a sacrificial layer that could be subject to renewing on a more often basis.
Love the video! And starting to use xtreme solutions more and more now. I had bought some TW graphene flex wax before I fell into xtreme products line. So I did a polish with 3d one, followed by the TW flex wax (24h cure) then topped with the Poly seal (24h cure) then used topper. Wow the results are great 👍. Has anyone done this? People have looked at my blue Toyota Corolla 2009 and asked me when I had it repainted lol. Maybe try the xtreme solutions graphene spray then the poly seal, followed by topper and see what your thoughts are?
I’ve done the Xtreme Graphene then poly and topper mixed in one of this videos and it’s worked out great. We’re at the 6 month mark and it’s still behaving like it’s brand new
Great video and I like the beer example analogy which really put things in perspective. For me I am sticking with Poly seal only because it’s tried, tested and true for ME. Now I just need to buy some Topper.
On our page hit playlists then product reviews I think there’s like 15 so far. Working on doing more of them kinda got away from that style but definitely need to do some more
I guess the big question is on your graphene spray, what sets your G Spray apart for the others. With so many choices our there, from big to small companies It is important to know the advantage's (cost /bang for buck, gloss, jetting, basic durability, self cleaning characters, etc) of the G Spray. Sure it comes down to the formulators skills, quality of ingredients, application, the amount of research , the extent of through and real world testing done. If not presented clearly, we the consumers (pros & others) are left the question, why try if no there is no clear differences maker... the graphene stuff is not cheap......
You sorta answered your own question. It comes down to the ingredients of each individual brands product. As far as price goes I linked our product page with that information so as a consumer it’s best to take that information and go out and compare. Before we release our products real independent detailers who own their own businesses use this stuff and provide real world testing. They report to us and we make necessary changes. So this has been in testing since fall it’s not just put together half hearted to make a buck. Remember our customers REQUESTED this product. So we developed it. All I can do is tell you what the independent detailers have reported, our chemists predictions, and show you it being used in 4K video quality close up. After you (the consumer) see this information it’s up to you to decide!
This is the absolutely BEST video I’ve seen succinctly explaining the differences between waxes and coatings. Simply excellent!
I get more out of topper and turtle wax ice then any other two products. I base everything with poly seal to start

Thank you for the support. PolySeal is the real deal, I personally love it!
I loved the Beer analogy! Rock on guys!
Thank you, it comes from the same guy who brought you “when you get into the shower you don’t fill up with water, but you do get wet”
Great video!!! Breaking down each product to help choose.. there is NO wrong choice here 👍👍 thanks Kero!
Thank you sir
Are any of your products good for matte finishes?
I would just stay away from the waxes. Topper and Jersey Devil would work great.
I am a beginner. What poeple mean by topper ???
really anything at the end that just gives it a little more shine
Too bad you dont ship to Puerto Rico
Email sales@877askxtreme.com with your desired order and address we ship to PR daily
Thanks. Why would you stack si02 on top of graphene? Should have some type of graphene topper or detail spray.

Graphene for protection
PolySeal for depth slickness and gloss
Great video thanks 🙏🏻
Thanks for tuning in!
How long before you can top Graphene with PolySeal?
More toward 24 hours you don’t want the solvents in the Graphene to mess with with SiO2 in poly
@@xtreme_solutions thanks
@@xtreme_solutions if I wanna add another layer of graphene when can I ?
2 hours after first coat
Just used Poly Seal for the 1st time. EPIC product. 💎Easy to use and a little goes a long way!! 😎 GGG
There is no wrong choice with Xtreme Solutions. 👍🏼👍🏼
Good video! Enjoyed meeting you on Papa Smurfs live stream!
Graphene is obviously yours so I will have to get Poly Seal and Topper 😉😃
Welcome thanks for tuning in!

all 3 ftw?! sounds awesome. Now need some gloss and durability comparisons, will run it by apex, thanks for the black car!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
All for you 😉
How does durability compare between the two? In other words what is your most durable sealant? You are going to have a future customer here.
Graphene coating will be more durable than the PolySeal. Both will last 3 months without being taken care of. If you maintain them we’ve had detailers make them last a year.
Absolutely in love with poly seal, even the scent is awesome. Really looking forward to trying the Graphene spray. As well a topper!!
Thank you!

You can drop the graphene right on top of all of that. Just hit it with a low grade IPA first you’re good
Another great video Steve
Thanks for checking it out appreciated!
Great explanation and clarification!
Thank youu
Great video. Thank you for all the information

This is true and the way I’ll use it to start off for sure
Always great and informative product reviews absolutely love Xtreme solution products.

Funny how some people don't even think the detailing & process...I guess what, they need to goldilocks it...
