Do you have a video of an IS200T that DOES NOT have this issue? Curious to see what the needle looks like without any symptoms, because it stays steady at some point.
@A_Nando_44 I ordered a new regulator and a hose, since Lexus has a service bulletin for this issue (free if you're under warranty) If you're not under warranty it's about $400 CDN in parts. I'll install everything next week and report back here the outcome.
I fixed it today, the boost stays steady now. If you do this fix, I highly recommend relocating the vacuum regulator, because they're known to be faulty. I put it in an easier spot to access, so if it goes back, it will take 2 minutes to change instead of 2 hours...
Your boost pressure valve is bad (258190W010). Membrane inside the solenoid is leaking causing your boost gauge needle to wobble like that.

Thank you again for pointing this out! I replaced it today with the revised hose as well.
Cheers!
does is300 2017 rwd have this to since it is turbo 4 cylinder
fsport one
Yes, the F Sport comes with this option in the cluster, however mine is a base model. Once I swapped the cluster, I got access to this boost gauge.
Hi there, have you replaced the VRV and hose?
I haven't actually, what are the signs that I should look for in order to know that it needs to be replaced?
Hey man I have the same issue. Did you ever get a chance to fix it? If so what did you do to fix it?
