This movie was dope. I think the first was good and this one was a step better as it should be. The fact that people in the comments are mad that yaz is dead means the movie is great and it hit you and now it’s got you feeling some type of way. Good movie
After falling in love with the first movie and anticipating this sequel for a long time and finally watching it: I can proudly/happily say that I loved this movie equally as the first one!😁🤩 And I’m very excited to see where they go from here!
You guys better bring back Yaz somehow. I don't care how but its pure injustice thay you killed him off like that. The calmness, the composure between Tyler, Nik and Yaz is impeccable. That fact that they decided to kill him off is absolute injustice. Do anything to bring the man back from the dead. Yaz was likeable for his selflessness, humor and humanity. To kill him off made me cry. The movie was phenomenal. But killing off Yaz was a huge mistake.
It was very heartbreaking moment for me honestly, but I like this move by the script writer. It fits well with the story. You see Yaz was a fun loving person and probably out of combat scenario for a long time. Neverthless he still manages to butcher some of the Nagazis in the building only to get shot from behind. It was perfect, otherwise the plot armour would've been over the top. That being said the scene in which he and a female nagazi soldier (megan anderson probably) were shooting each other in the stairway, was the best scene for me. Bloody awsome.
NO! please don't make this like another Fast and Furious franchise. Let the dead character stay dead. By now it will be a cliche if dead character want to surprise "im alive" and go hug and say hey did you wear shirt that i give you? bla bla meh

If Hemsworth takes a break, Extraction 3 could be a back story about Nic & Yaz and the rest of their team. They had a faceless crew at the prison & in the hangar. How do they get paid? Does Nic work for Alcott's boss? We would get to see My Man Yaz those rocking Valentino shirts.
@gamewatch4127 2 was not exactly more brutal, 1 overall was alot more brutal when fighting between different enemies, the enemies in 2 are much better so they don't end up dying as brutally as the ones in the first movie
This movie was indeed a super thrill ride. Only thing that could have made it better if it was in IMAX. From beginning to end was awesome. The action never slowed down at all
Didn't anyone notice that Idris Elba's character says something about Tyler rescuing a journalist from Congo. That could be a potential prequel at some point of time or who knows it has something to do with the big boss?

Definitely would love to see more movies like this with maybe Nik and her brother (Yaz), spin-offs... a Pre-quel would not be good, as Chris ages so how he could play a much younger himself? Maybe his real life brother?

I like to believe that this will lead to a Fast and Furious crossover and that Idris is actually Brixton from Hobbs and Shaw and the organization that he works for is actually Eteon
Cinema is dead these days, all these end credit scenes. Not every movie has to follow the marvel formula. Make something that doesnt warrant a sequel like inception instead of repetitive violence. Dont turn this into a fast and furious 10 scenario
I love the action sequences in this movie - they were gritty, visceral and had me completely immersed. But the writing sucked. How am I to understand the motivation of Hemsworth's character if he's risking his life to save a boy that screwed them over like that? The kid made his choice and people died as a result, there's no redemption for that him in my book. We as an audience are supposed to root for him rescuing that squirmy little s***.
Defs a solid sequel, better than the first. The action and antagonist improved. They still need to get a better writer. Some shakey camera and dumb character decisions would be flaws I saw on the first watch. Story was decent, generic.
