Can I use my own instruments with this or do I have to use the presets supplied with Arpology?

Why didn't SL release this in the ULTRA engine? Kontakt loads a lot slower and preset browsing is a pain.
We will be designing for both engines, as different product and concepts.

@@EmpiricalMind We won't be releasing the same libraries for UltraEngine and Kontakt, rather different liberties for each. Next Ultra lib is a couple months out or so.

Is there a upgrade from the old arpology?
Not an upgrade, but you should have received an email for a crossgrade loyalty promotion.
Can you edit the effects?
We've included dozens of FX presets and you can control the amount and what effect using the XY.
I was one click away from buying & then realized it will only work in Kontakt 7, too bad. I have no issues with Kontakt, but the upgrade from 6 to 7 feels like a useless cash grab.
Kontakt 7 has very powerful effects and an improved scripting language with more to come. This allows us developers to create better products, that's why we are K7 only for Arpology X.
