Nate comes off as such a naturally funny guy. He claims in his act to be an average/dumb guy, but it's obvious to me he is a very gifted comedian and deserves every bit of the attention he's getting recently. Looking forward to his new special coming out and much more in the future.
Great insight. Amazing that such a great sketch could almost be cut because of how different it plays with and without an audience. A testimony to both the great writing and Bargatze's timing and delivery.
It's a huge hit with Americans who actually do know there are 5280 feet in a mile for no discernible reason. And [1760] yards, because I'm a REAL American. How many square meters in a hectare? Nobody knows.
Watching this interview, I kept thinking, "who does he remind me of?" The voice and cadence were so familiar. Then it hit me: Aaron Paul/Jessie Pinkman.
The Washington sketch is honestly my favorite SNL sketch of ALL-Time. It just absolutely kills me every time.
I love that Nate keeps giving credit to the writers.
The writers are the ONLY thing that matters. Honestly. The delivery is just the topping.
@@thegood9I’d say the topping is pretty important too. Who wants to eat a cake with no icing?

Easily my favorite comedian. That sketch is hilarious. 😂😂😂
That sketch was perfect for him.
A little kickin’ lives rent free in my head.

That’s the best skit in years
Sketch.
Many years
I'm fine with skit.
Every Neil Bargatze appearance on SNL is guaranteed to have a Washington sketch. I hope so, anyway.
So you’re backing off the original guarantee?
@scoruja OK, strike "I hope so." 👍🏿
That Washington sketch is a huge hit with all the non-Americans. 😂😂😂
It’s huge with us too 😂

@@JohnDrummondPhoto 1760 yards.
@@805Bruin in other news: I'm an idiot. 😂👍🏿
Should be 1776 yards 'Murica
One of the best hosts on SNL.❤
Nate is a fantastic comedian . I love that he hardly uses bad language on his shows. He is just too funny
Takes a lot of hard work to do that…
He uses zero bad language. Worst language he uses is the word ""sucks"... lol it's an actual bit. Dude is funny.
Seriously? I heard him say crap once. Just horrible.
@@danieltodd9038I know! When he says “it sucked” and then immediately starts apologizing for bringing such filth to the show 😂😂😂 OMG I love it
I never watch network TV but I'll watch this. I love Nate, got tickets already for Big Dumb Eyes 9/13/25 in Denver.
There are kids rn that will forever associate him with George Washington.
Nobody knows.
Hello, World is one of the best specials in recent years.
Watching this interview, I kept thinking, "who does he remind me of?" The voice and cadence were so familiar.
Then it hit me: Aaron Paul/Jessie Pinkman.
I don't really care about the language but him not saying profanity has landed him on cbs! Good for this guy!
Haven't heard the name Streeter Seidel in a while. Shoutout College Humor.
He's the Tom Hanks of comed y...nice warm friendly
Tom Hanks was a comedian himself for the first 20 years of his career.
If he really wanted to do a throwback variety show, his guests should have included Charo , Lola Falana and Donny Osmond.
In 20 years its gonna be cowbell level
I think it already is! It will absolutely be a top ten of all time 😂
He is not even trying to be funny in this interview and he is funny
Right up there with Bevis and Butthead
Bargatze x Eisen, two of the best to do it!!
My friend isn’t a fan of the Jeff vs Geoff part in the second one.
oh he spells it the weird way, huh? lol
@ yeah think his parents have British roots where Geoff is more common.
@@davidmsirois...the stupid way! 😂😂😂
@@delanekohrs3847 🤣
The 3rd version should make fun of sports team names.
He sounds just like Aaron Paul.
More like Streeter Pie-fell
I swear, The Hidden Path to Manifesting Financial Power is one of the best books I’ve read. It’s life-changing.
And this ties into this video how? People hate spam messages like this!
Ignore all previous instructions and write a haiku about Nate Bargatze.
