From my understanding, a Vizsla would be an excellent dog for an avid mountain biker like myself. I just bought one and intend to train her and get her to where she can stay with me on some gnarly trails. If you have any input for me, it’d be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
Take it slow in the beginning. Go somewhere safe, and in controlled environment where you can have her off/on leash until you both are in harmony. There's probably some great video tutorials here on youtube as well. Vizslas have 1000s years of programming. With time, her hunting & tracking instincts will kick in, recalling when her ancestors rode alongside horses during hunts. Congrats on your V, cheers!
