How long do you walk a puppy? Watch this!
Lost my best friend Face in September after 11 wonderful years together. No day without thinking of him. Miss him every single day.
This is a great video. If I didn’t have 2 other wild young dogs, I would consider one of these. We have half and acre fenced and my dogs go wild all day long. We really enjoy this type of energy and personality. Thanks for sharing ❤
I'm sorry, this video came out a long time ago, but where did you find that coat ?? My gsp is very sensible to cold, and this seem wonderfull !
This description of the Vizsla breed is so on point. I have a vizsla, she is 9.5 years old now and we’ve had her since 8 weeks old. They can be little terrors as puppies because of their energy, they are extremely persistent in what they want and you have to be even more patient in training etc. My husband and I have always traded off working from home jobs so one of us has consistently been home with her throughout the years and that has been a goal of ours because we love her so much and know vizslas need that. Shes had a little chihuahua mutt sister since she was 4.5 years old and they are great together. She’s always gotten consistent walks and still gets at least 30min-1hr of a walk or more 6-7 days out of the week. We can leave her home alone for hours at a time but she has never had a life consistent of being left alone all day. As she has aged she is even more beautiful, loving, well behaved and valuable to us. They are the most special breed I know of but I would say they are definitely not a dog breed anyone should have. They need a LOT of love, patience, time, energy and consistency. They bond with you greatly and feel like a human, not just a dog. PLEASE do not get one if you don’t love all of these qualities about them (bad or good) or aren’t able to give them ALL the love they need.❤
Had five of them and that Viz wants all of that settee, ours would push my wife off. Had labs and a GSP as well but the Viz is a different breed altogether. Not easy to train but once they get it they never forget and working will never tell a lie. Mine where working dogs. We don't have one now because I am too old to give the work they need.
I had similar experience with a whippet, which has that similar prey.high energy thing. He literally could not be warn out. It was impossible. I read an article by a behaviorist who suggested that trying to exercise it out, doesn't always work with all dogs. Some are athletic enough that they will just always rise to the demand, and after a while it's like you create a monster. I found a balance where he'd get exercise, but limit it enough that he didn't just keep expanding his demand. After a while he was better with that, then constantly trying to chase that high level thing. He basically had to be taught to relax.
Yeah, but does that dog hunt? THats what it was breed for. After 12 years since my last Weimaraner passed, I’ll be getting a Vizsla. While my location has changed, I plan to teach new vizsla to run next to me on a bike, for additional exercise and will see it’s trained and make a few trips a year for hunting upland birds.
Please dont cut their tales, it's like cutting their nuts off. It's not on you.
this beautifull dog can be trained without rewards as parts of meat, sweets of whatever. just enthusiasm. ( my exp.)
Poor vizsla, he looks teribly sad and upset in her s bed
My vizsla is 16 weeks old and he already can heel, sit, stay, paw, go crate, focus and much more. Its kinda scary how fast vizlas learn 😰 Don't even know what to do next...
Your music is too loud!!

Viszla smell so good. Intelligent , sensible, stay real close to there owner, love to work and only viszla had a song of there own so sweet. Best dog ever. But large dogs often do not get older than 13 years
Very helpful video but the music that is supposed to be on the background, is very annoying...

He will eat your Rabbits 😂
Very cool
When every my wife and I are feeling like a hug, no matter where in the house our Vizsla is, she will join us in seconds and _demand_ to be included in the group hug. Seriously. I believe humans give off an "I love you" odor that we are consciously unaware of. It is the only explanation of this, because we have tried being very very quiet and she still comes bounding in. Note the icon I use.
Awesome dog!
Yeah we know this well girl Viszla 🐕👋😄
Are you ever going to hunt with him or do fieldwork?
@@tyrannotherium7873 I fieldwork with him, rabbits, birds, prairie dogs, deer.

This is just great. So many people get a dog only based on the dog's looks and they might fail to cater for that specific breed's needs. And it is so unfair, as many of those doggies would end up in the shelter, indeed, forsaken and maybe wondering what on Earth they did wrong.
This is great. Thank you for making this video. Just adopted a rescue Vizsla from Ukraine so it's good to know how to manage the breed. Very informative video
Good Boy. Deserves a big steak once a month for his hard vacuuming work❤😊❤
What a sweet pup!!!
So sorry for ur loss. It's really hard for a pet parent when your pupper passes away. Rip hughie. Just one question. May I know what kind dog breed hughie was? TIA.
Such beautiful eyes😊
Thank you for your video I recently lost my dog and am looking at having a Visla joining the home. I am sorry to hear about the loss of your dog. I wrote this song following the loss of my dog Mylo. Sad times. ua-cam.com/video/wtSATkYU3mA/v-deo.htmlsi=vQZipOzz0Ce6OLWb
I have the same e-collar for my V, Ozzy. I spent months laying over the stim at 8 practicing recall on a longline so he couldn’t fail. We’ve been off lead for 2 years now and his recall is perfect but I still use the collar as a just in case. I always felt there’s a balance between keeping him safe and getting the just enough level of correction if he forgot to listen. Without the collar he’d either never be off lead or no longer with us so I don’t care what people think. I do what’s right for my boy. Thanks for sharing your experience.
Beautiful ❤
Great photography
What a beautiful dog! ❤❤❤❤❤

He is running faster once you discount for acceleration. It's probably just under 30 mph. Impressive.
We have a 13 year old male Vizsla who we purchased from a breeder as a puppy. Overall, he has been an absolute asset to our family of six. He was properly trained and has lived within a very structured and disciplined environment. He is walked unleashed, responds to commands, heels, comes when he is called, and has the privilege to roam around our property and cul-de-sac neighborhood. He is very friendly and social with our neighbors and other dogs and only wants to play. He can be very protective and needs a lot of affection. Vizsla's are very intelligent, have high energy and can be trained to be skilled hunting dogs. Vizslas are definitely not for everyone, especially if they are expected to live in a confined space, such as an apartment or a small home - they need space! Owning a Vizsla is a constant, just like having a child.
You need to lower the background music. I can hardly hear her.

He’s gorgeous. I’m 52, and am on my 6th vizsla. My Father gave me my first vizsla when I was 13 years old.i can’t imagine my life without vizslas. They’re very special beings.
Hungarian here and my experience tracks with this video. They're very smart and affectionate and high energy. Wide variety of personality types. Seriously smart dogs, like Malinois and also high strung. Best is a vizsla pitbull mix. Chills down that purebred energy and lower maintenance. Also fewer health problems.
They are tireless!!! We knew a beauty at our dog park. She could run every dog to exhaustion. So very smart!
Don't Get A Vizsla, get two of them :)
This audio quality is really bad man, did you listen to this before you uploaded it? I would do some research into video editing and adding audio tracks.

A vizsla is a human being.
What a beautifully made video about your chosen dog breed, Vizslas. They sound a lot like my nanny dogs, English Staffies. I am not allowed to indulge in my emotions around them, they know what I'm feeling even before I do sometimes. They are not here to just sit around and be ornaments, which reminds me I need to go exercise with them right now. Thank you for loving your dog so much that you want others to be informed, I think you are both amazing!
Hello there, 💛get him please a chest harness....the neck harness chokes them, they tend to get in panic and want to run away even more, which chokes them more, which they wanna free themselves of more. It's a cycle. 🕊️ Second ball games exhausted my rotti a lot, there are even the electric ones. If you are not sure if he would end up hunting something, just put a muzzle on. By rott passed away, and oh god I was devastated for 2 whole years.
I adopted Amos at the shelter when he was 8,because he looked so miserable in his little cage.My "Braque Hongrois " (in French) was the moste gentle and affectionate dog I've ever had. After 2 years,I was walking him in the park in the evening,he started to cough and in seconds,he died in my arms.I had him crematized, and scattered his ashes where he died.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
He is absolutely beautiful & adorable.
