Great build, but I also love how open you are about things you're learning, things you aren't sure of or might try to do better next time, etc. That kind of honesty and vulnerability is SO incredibly helpful for folks learning from others, and I think it makes you a more trustworthy source, as well. Cheers on the great work!

Thank you! Yeah, I can't teach people woodworking but at least I can learn woodworking with people and share my experience and that's all about it:)

Thank you! I can't believe 1k people subscribed to my channel!
Oh, glass door knobs? That actually sounds cool:. I was originally going to celebrate my 1K sub achievement by dancing with the handles but it was too much so I gave up, haha:)

Congrats on 1000! And I'm excited to see what you do with your new moxon vise. Your point about the spinning rod handles vs spinning a nut on is definitely valid for sure. I know when I made mine, I didn't like the idea of the threaded portion sticking out the front for me to run in to lol

Thank you! I really enjoy woodworking and building up connections with good people:)
oh yeah, I thought the rods sticking out the front will be in the way, too but now my handles were too big and actually sticking out, haha.

Another cool build, and congrats on reaching 1,000 subs. That's awesome. I've been commenting on every video, because that supposedly helps you get more recommendations from the algorithm. I think a lot more woodworkers would enjoy what you're doing here. You're doing small projects that should seem approachable for beginners, and you're using advanced techniques while showing that those techniques are actually doable if you just try. Which is really amazing. Your channel should really be inspiring to anyone who wants to try woodworking, but they can't go out and buy $25,000 worth power tools, or build a huge shop to use them in. Starting with hand tools can be significantly cheaper with the added bonus of learning so much more about the wood itself, compared to just using power tools.
I started with power tools, but David J. Marks, and Roy Underhill sparked an interest in me for using hand tools. I'll keep my power tools around for when I need them, but at this point, I prefer to do as much as possible with hand tools.
Your sense of humor is a great addition to your videos. It seems like the jokes just naturally flow out of you. That's the best kind of humor. Some UA-cam woodworkers try too hard to be funny and it's just really awkward and cringe worthy. You need to just keep being you. You have a humble, charming, and down to Earth personality that makes you seem approachable. It seems like it would be an awesome time, hanging out in your shop with you. I think that will draw viewers in, and bring them back. I hope more people find your channel. I think they'll enjoy it as much as I do.
Very nice Moxon vise, BTW. Such beautiful wood. Keep up the good work.

Thank you Danny as always. I'm happy to read your comment sharing your experience and have your kind support to help me grow my channel.
Don't worry about the algorism thing, when people just give me a positive comment or feed back, I get enough motivation to entertain my viewers and continue my channel and I also enjoy the process of increasing the numbers of views and subs by interacting with them.
I don't know if I'm that good person but surely I'm approachable because one thing I enjoy doing on UA-cam is to make friends! Again thank you for the comment!
