I just saw this recap today. I was crying almost constantly through the mystery recap a powerful and sensitive film that captures so much about human nature, and how we choose to live our lives and shape the people in our care.
By the mercy of God many of my dream came truth. Trust me still the world feels as much of a trash bin full of evil people as i was child. Infact it feels more chaotic now. Life on earth is meaningless and an illusion at the end. Everything you achieve has no value, I might die in a car accident tomorrow while i am building my own farm and all my poor animals will be left behind.
This was a different recap than any other done by this team. I don’t know who wrote the script, but I loved the way you added your thoughts and feelings at the end. They made me smile through the tears at the end. Thank you.
Moral of the story: Make your dreams come true. No matter how hard or stressful it gets, it will be worth it in the end. If you can't do that, don't hate yourself, but appreciate happy moments and enjoy life no matter what it sends after you. Appreciate all the moments where you content and never take happiness for granted.

"it is worth living for" That's what I thought the first few hundred times around. If the movie was more realistic then it would demonstrate how the ones who weren't chosen were actually the ones who passed.
This one really got to me. The idea of being erased from existing, sounds even worse than death as we know it (even though that may be what death is). But believing in an afterlife implies continuing existence. I suppose being completely erased from existence would be infinitely better than burning in Hell for eternity. No matter how bad you feel, how scared you feel, if you are going to be completely erased from existence, you will not suffer. And yet, somehow, even though it seems it shouldn’t matter (because you won’t exist to suffer anyway) it still seems incredibly sad. My brain doesn’t know how to process this concept. I have never taken my own life because I am scared of eternal damnation in Hell, or being stranded in some dark empty void, or still being stuck HERE as a ghost/spirit. So I just continue existing in this misery with the little comfort I know. If I end up losing even more, and end up homeless, or otherwise completely hopeless, I will be much more likely to take the risk. After all, I am going to die one day anyway.
As someone who has been surviving a dark depression for many years now, I can empathize with what you're saying. But I wouldn't be here today if I hadn't found some insight. Some men spend their whole lives running from their shadow. From the fears of the unknown. From the existential dread of his mortality, or the depth of his loneliness. But wherever he runs, his shadow follows. And it becomes all he sees. But remember what a shadow is. It is *you*. Your shadow exists only when you are bathed in light. It is not an enemy to be feared, but a dear friend to be embraced. It is proof of the beauty in this world, and a reminder to look to the light, wherever it shines from. You never see your shadow at night. Hell does not exist but for the Hell we make. It can be bad, but... This is as bad as it gets. And when you learn to embrace that, you can begin to find hope and meaning in anything. I wish you love, peace, and purpose

I was hoping well into the ending credits that Kyo would’ve intervened and told Will he made a mistake and choose Emma 😢 He knew from the jump, Emma was a special soul & in my opinion the person Will should’ve picked. But then I read someone else’s comment on a another review about how this was more about Will than the candidates & Emma helped liberate him and possibly transition into his next phase of “life”. Beautiful movie, great actors, this one is now on my list of favorites ❤

To anyone who thinks that suicide is selfish, you have likely never experienced a pain so great that death feels like the only rational option. Depression is complicated. It can effect people in many ways. So whilst some people might struggle to get out of bed and take daily showers, other people could be experiencing the worst feeling of depression imaginable. Lastly instead of saying "commit suicide" you could instead say that someone ended their life or suicided.
I hate when people say it’s selfish because a lot of the time people do it because they actually believe their loved ones would be happier without them and they don’t want to continue to cause them even more suffering.
They got that backwards...souls are FAR more valuable than physical bodies! Souls can exist with a physical form, but if a physical form lacks a soul, it can be disastrous.
I wish I could be the interviewer, immortal and able to judge others for an eternity. Anything is better than death, or a lack of existence, and retaining my memories forever is worth any price.

But usually wants your channel to get recaps of movies that I'm interested in but feel they're probably going to be bad. However every once in awhile you give a recap of a movie that makes me wish I had seen the movie and not the recap. This right here is one of those movies. The month or so from now I'll probably end up downloading and watching the full film haven't forgot about a lot of it.

Awesome job explaining this in the way you did. I search for so many until I found this one and non really gave my what I was missing to fill. This movie was amazing. In a way it made me think of Inside Out the cartoon movie until I understood what really was going on.

Another movie which puts theme way above logic and plot. Lack of time to the creatives can cause such issues with filmmaking. However, your narration is on point.
The setup reminds me strongly of Death Parade. An anime in which souls are evaluated if they should go to heaven, hell or another life circle. Same vibes and similar characters imo
