Hello everyone! If you liked this video, please subscribe to our channel and give it a Like. We would also like to mention that we did not buy this apartment, we are renting it. We assumed the price based on similar houses we saw for sale and a calculation of the price per square meter in Zurich city (~15k-20k) * the square meter of the apartment (60m2). If you have any suggestions for future videos, please let us know below in the comments. See you in the next episode 🙂.
I really like your apartment. I especially like how much daylight comes through the windows and you gave me a good overview of how i can imagine a $1,000.000 apartment in Zurich. Thank you for sharing it with us!
Hey there @Sinan Yildiz thanks a lot for your comment ! We appreciate it. Yes we also enjoy some light, especially Claudia, who comes from Spain and therefore is a big friend of the sun :-D We are happy that the content we shared is valuable for you and gave you some insight ! See you soon :-)
Great video, your apartment looks very cute, thanks for sharing ! I especially enjoy the close up shots that you were doing ! Very well done, good work !
Hey there @timmeyer8976 thanks for your comment. Thanks also for the positive feedback regarding the edit. Claudia placed a lot of time into it and it is nice to see that it is appreciated :-)
Ahh you got me It looks very cozy and I have the feeling that I was already there with you through the videos. Specifically I like the couch it looks very comfortable or hyggely
Thank you very much Pia for your comment ! We appreciate it. Since we spend a considerable chunk of our time at home we also want to make it hyggelig and cozy :-) Wishing you a wonderful day !

Muchas gracias por su comentario. ¡Es muy agradable leer palabras tan agradables de usted, lo apreciamos ! ¡Espero que te vaya bien y te deseo un buen comienzo de semana ! (Thanks so much for your comment ! It is very nice to read so nice words of you, we appreciate it ! I hope that you are doing fine and I wish you a good start into the week ! )
Your apartment is very nice, you showed the rooms very well and I think it is very good to live there. I find the "bye" at 10:35 at the end very funny.👍🏼😂
You put out some valuable content. A little off topic maybe, but there’s this woman I got in touch with during the lockdown which cost me my job. Ms. Norman Davis helped me manage my assets by introducing me to different investing strategies, I earned a lot of $$$ working with Norman in the comfort of my home. I still keep in touch with the amazing lady
I have a master in mathematical finance, so it wasn’t so easy to get me convinced to begin an investment without me carrying out proper research on her. I had her broker ID checked and she’s fully verified! So I began with a few bucks, only to get huge returns in a month. I reinvested and now I get long-term monthly returns… So glad I don’t rely on paychecks anymore.
Love and light from San Diego, I’m trying to create long term wealth to set towards property one day . How can i reach out to her? she could be of great help
Muchas gracias, sí tienes razón es agradable, que hay muchas ventanas, que es especialmente muy importante para Claudia, ella disfruta mucho del sol, ya que es un niño del sol español :-D (Thank you very much, yes you are right it is nice, that there are many windows, that is especially very important for Claudia, she enjoys the sun very much, as she is a child of the Spanish sun:-D )
Haha hello royalkutun I understand your way of thinking, but Zurich prices are just a different category. Especially in the center. You can not compare it to your home country. You can use Flatfox and check out some prices if you want to get a better overview. Also you can check out our cost of living video where we talk about the costs here in Zurich, Switzerland.👍💯😃
@claudiaandjan I respectfully disagree with your idea of quality of life.let me elaborate on you from the perspective of poland. Let's assume both of you together make just 10000 pln(1800 euro)in poland which is just bellow average salary in poland for two person. 1.you can effort 3 bedrooms flat with every single modern facility( granted hot water in tab and dryers), can effort a new car, frequent dining out, quality of eating, gym, fresh air ,free Healthcare, free school for kids, including kindergarten.and still can save some money for yearly vacation.anyway in poland monthly working hours in 160 and annual leave from work in 30. So what do you think?
@@royalkutun5699 yes, would definitely prefere Poland. I live in Germany and earn 5300€ and could afford buying two apartments before I was 30 years old. I spend around 1800€ while paying the mortgage of my apartment, frequent dining out, gym, free healthcare, school and quite a lot of vacantions.
Mil $usd is 7-8crores in rupees here in Mumba, india (7 to 80,000,000). Just a premium apartment to be honest. Not about the cost or the taxes you pay but what you get out of it
Honestly speaking, don't you think you're paying way too much for that apartment? Here in Los Angeles for 1,000,000$ you can have a very modern and spacious flat in an upscale neighborhood like Westwood or Hollywood Boulevard...especially now that prices have fallen a bit. I see Zurich as a nice place to live if you are over 40yo or to retire but I don't see the appeal for a young person...no beaches/ocean, no big sport events, no great weather, lack of cultural diversity, underwhelming nightlife, not many events and a conservative society....is it worth to pay such a big premium for Zurich? :)
Hello Kristina, We appreciate your very thoughtful comment and also are grateful that you actually think about these details. You are right is some way I assume. It is a very difficult question to answer and maybe a one, which is well to be discussed at a glass of wine on a weekend dinner. For now we are very happy here. What comes in 10 years nobody knows and maybe by then things have changed a lot, maybe also not. That is the beauty of life. We stay open for what is in front of us and try to keep also our minds open. Thanks again for your comment, it is nice to rethink and re-evaluate life from time to time. For now everything is good 😀🚀 have a wonderful week and enjoy the sunshine in sunny California ✨🍀💯☀️
Well, some people prefer Swiss nature and historical surroundings more, it is also very close to anywhere in Europe. LA is a nice place if you have money, but it's a nightmare when it comes to safety, health insurance, pollution, travelling and having real friends. In Switzerland, if you lose a job, you can still afford to live in this appartment, in LA you become homeless. It's a trade off. Also, in that price range you can get fancier appartments in the area, this one is really overpriced old appartment in central area, and is not a good representation of what 1 million gets you.
Old houses do have their charme, modern buildings lack history and can look sterile. Interesting for you to assume that there are no sport events or lack of cultural diversity. The nightlife maybe underwhelming but there is still a lot to do. Ever heard of the yearly Street parade where a million people show up from all over europe to party? The yearly athletics diamond league meeting takes places in zurich. Just to name two events. 32% of zurichs population are foreingner so there is a lot of cultural diversity (compared to 35% in LA). As for the weather. I like the 4 seasons we get and the rain, it means life and a "green scenery".
Beautiful apartment! I laughed at how small the bathroom is and also when you had to wait for the light to come on in the cellar 😂 how much is rent on the apartment per month? You probably said it somewhere.
Hi!! Thank you very much for your comment. We are happy to hear the video made you laugh 😊 The rent is the average for an apartment in the city center of Zurich 🏠

Eastern Europeans should really see that what they take for granted. These two swisses pay an insane amount of money to live in a small expensive flat with the comforts of 1930s
literally every house in switzerland will cost you about a million. Like even in the remotest town and in a bad state…😭 And don’t even think about building a house. It will cost you at least 1.2 Million… The house that my parents bought 20 years ago for around 400’000 CHF is now worth around 1.4 Million CHF.
