- Value boxes have always been a sweet spot at shows. For a long time, we’ve tried showing that on our UA-cam channel. Lately, we’ve spent a month traveling the country testing out how good value boxes can be, with a timed challenge at each show. 1 hour to spend $200 in value boxes. From some of the country’s best card shows, to mall shows, to Sunday after “all the deals are gone”, we tested it all in this series. I used to enjoy going to these as a kid, I see things haven't really changed. The malls having card shows with vacant store lots all around.

Do you bring your own chair for value boxing? 🤣 I need to start looking for chairs at shows because I usually end up breaking my back shuffling through hundreds of cards in value boxes. Those $5 cards with the pink stickers were fire; most of those will sell for at least $20.

We made a few deals with most of these dealers. But we tried to do the value boxin’ videos first each show, then we’d go back later for other deals.

When you are value box digging, how closely are you looking at condition? Always wondered this.
Most times not something we’re actively looking at every card on. More expensive stuff maybe but not as much on sub $20 stuff
@@cardcollector2 Makes sense. I'm personally so weird about it. haha Even though I know for a FACT I'm never going to end up grading the $1 cards I'm getting, it still gives me the peace of mind. Lol #PerfectionistProblems
