hey man great vid, what website do you chose to check COMPS, is there a quick way to check comps on it, like takin a photo of the card and the website automatically recognizes it, or do you have to manually put the details of the card in and search it manually?
Man I’ve been to this shop many times and have never found a card worth more than $4-$5 in the dollar boxes. Gotta love how they fill them up just for the influencers… All love to Ryan, love the content. This is more about shop owners.
Yeah we had a 4 hour call going over different cards we could put in the $1 box for a video that was 10 minutes long. Come on brother, you know damn well this isn’t the case. We miss on $1 boxes all the time. I assure you nothing happened that was “special” for us to get lucky and find this. Happens all the time - pure luck.
If you had gone thru those boxes many times you would know most if not all of those have been in there since we opened 😂😂😂
@@cardcollector2 Not saying you had a 4-hour phone call, you likely don't even know about it, so again, it wasn't a shot at you (I said I love the content), this is on the shop owners that load up boxes knowing very well that you will go through them. Then we go to the shop and can't find anything like what you found. Just shady practice from shop owners. I get it though... good "marketing". All love Ryan. Keep killin' it.

This store is 20 minutes away from my house and I go there all the time! I wish I knew you were there, but it's also great to see what people can do their with real money. I always thought it was a great shop

The Alyssa Naeher card is a patch from her club team the Chicago Red Stars. She’s the goalie for the USWNT also. Definitely a card I’d love to have as a Red Stars season ticket holder.

I make $130,000 a year and I’m single and I still can’t touch how much you spend on cards lol any advice ?
If i had to guess loans, but he used them to build his shop and keep It stocked. He knows the card trading game well and knows where to find value. He is a good investor. Makes profit on most buys. Now he also makes profit with these videos. I really enjoy his content.

Comp thing is getting out of hand. Dealers should fight back and start pulling comps up when guys go through their dollar box. What did you get it for and how long has it been sitting here are the only real questions in the sales world.
We haven’t taken any value box cards out of the value boxes since we opened. Just only have so many hours in a day and the goal of those boxes is for people to find gems if they take the time to look.

So here’s my question for everyone in this hobby. You are trying to comp the hell outta this guy in his shop and seems to have zero interest. Which he’s entitled. He can price anything at any price he wants. Maybe it sells maybe not. His choice. But you who seem to live off comps for getting prices, should every single card you bought in the $1 box and $.25 box noe be comped at those prices bc technically that is the last price someone bought them. Or do comps only count on eBay and not advertised videos which clearly show a transaction for those cards at those prices????

I have flipped thru the low end boxes at cards shows and I see NOTHING of interest…. tho I’m not a low end collector.. so just have no interest.. u tho in volume selling prolly do find stuff…
