2010 Dodge Charger R/T with Flowmaster American Thunder exhaust

I did a video for a soundcheck with my 2010 Dodge Charger R/T with Flowmaster American Thunder exhaust.
It had about 107 to 114 DB and I really liked the sound - sadly the german TUEV doesn't like it very much :-) Nor did my neighbours...

I have a 2013 RT and I've been debating on the American Thunder or the Force II. This video may have just sold me on the American Thunder. Sounds awesome :)

ckrosi Thanks for the reply. I actually ended up getting the Force II. My main reason was that I was worried about failing inspection here in MA. The other reason was drone. I still get drone on my Force II (not really at cruising so much, but when MDS is active and I accelerate (not enough to kick it out of MDS) it sounds really stupid. I hate MDS so much, I don't know why they wouldn't make it so MDS was inactive when sport mode was on... Thanks again for the reply though makes me feel better about my purchase. I will say though, the Force II is much more tame than this, its got a nice rumble on start and idle but if you want people to really hear it you'd better be ready to step on the gas. :/

Were there any other mods you had on that, besides the exhaust system? That sounds awesome. I have a 2006 Daytona R/T and really wanna get some louder exhaust on it.

I had an MOPAR CAI (open air filter; that thing looking like a mushroom) installed, nothing more.
But the American thunder itself only was a straight pipe (I guess it was the aggressive type). That's why it sounded that good imho... On that video it doesn't even sound as good as it did in reality

Cats were still untouched. Rear resos are missing on that exhaust by factory, the front ones are not filled with wool or something. Check bit.ly/2JB61iR
