Casuals - Alex had beaten Izzy twice in kickboxing before. Second fight was almost identical to this one - Izzy clearly winning, but then getting caught. The fight had tons of hype because Alex is someone who has beaten Izzy twice in another sport, and now did it again in MMA. He truly is Izzy’s boogeyman.
I'm no Adesanya fan but stating he won the first fight is delusional the seccond one Adesanya was picking him apart but got knocked out at the later parts of the fight. Just like Rob is saying Alex has a massive weight advantage. All in all great fight respect to both fighters.
@@donsq4306 so did Costa and Whittaker. Both are naturally heavier than Izzy, but he made ways work of both of them. Alex just has Izzy’s number.
@@anthonyjacob7045 Nah maybe Costa but Alex looked way bigger than Costa and Whittaker he legit looked like a leight heavy weight. When Costa was fighting against Adesanya he legit looked huge but against Alex he looked way smaller. But I agree Alex is also a better striker than both Whittaker and Costa but all factors play a part. Because to beat Adesanya you need both skill and attributes. But if Alex was the same size as Adesanya he would have lost that's a fact he got wobbled hard even as it is.

Bruh, it was so fucking tense. I was out last night at BWW & it was super tense the whole fight. Every strike that was landed, everyone gasped. Then in the 5th round, when Izzy got rocked, literally everyone stood up. Shit was incredible

Izzy always fighted with dudes who was smaller (hight) and with less reach, izzy always had that advantage, with Alex was diferent.
He can't hit and go as usual because Alex has a similar reach.
There's always an excuse with Rob. Izzy and Alex have a kinda rivalry across platforms. I believe Alex won against the Stylebender twice before.
