So refreshing to see this deep and engaging conversation. We are fed up of so much about how to be successful. The world does not need more successful people. It needs people with greater consciousness. Thank you Lewis for elevating the level of the conversations!! 💜

I think it's the transparency and genuine nature of your dialogue that really draws people in. The humor helps too! Great stuff!!!

My roomate introduced me to his show, and spoke very highly of Pete as a comedian. I enjoyed the first season a lot, and was really curious when I saw he was going to be on this show.
What an unexpected gem. Thanks yet again, Lewis, team, and Pete for a great interview.

Buying Pete's book after watching this. Seeing two souls getting what this life means made the whole interview both worth it and fulfilling. I had a theory that if you have a profound understanding and grasp of fundamental life truths then you'll have a pillar and oasis of perspective that then you could express and exhibit through humour and comedy. Its same in art, which before you could endeavour to create surrealism masterpieces it would be ideal to first have a mastery of realism.

This is absolutely amazing, I've been writing alot of transcripts while watching and listening to take in. This conversation is beautifully articulated and has really captured something I've been unable to put into words, thank you.

What I loved about this interview is the depth in someone who drops F bombs and makes you laugh. Lesson be unapologetically who you are while searching and experiencing the meaning of all that is... Loved it! Going to Barnes & Noble today to get the book!

I’m a bit of a songwriter, but I haven’t done it in a while. Been trying to get back into it. The chorus of one I’m working on says this: “If only we could see the light in the shadows. shadows only mean there’s light shining. If only we could see gold in the caverns. gold is only found in hard places. If only hindsight was now” Then I saw this video. I think it’s a sign. lol I love that concept of hindsight now!

I've been a huge fan of Pete for years now.....and I LOVE that people are finally getting him.
He seems to be an acquired taste for some....I guess truly radical honesty and empathy and intelligence is scary and "weird" to some.
But I love how Pete has always leaned into that aspect of who he is.
He does not bullshit. Ever. And I love that about him. He's one of the coolest people ever....and he doesn't fucking try at all. Which only makes him that much cooler. He's a legit original human being.
Yeah....I'm gushing. Hard not to do with Pete. I love the guy.

I actually wished for the book to not end vs trying to get it over with.

We are conditioned right from birth and top it with our own ignorance, it's further conditioning of course all the wrong way, some people realize and try to shed it, this process is called life. There is no one formula to live, everyone finds it so different, only constant being ignorance and pain and sometimes pleasure but peace no.

Murdering me would likely cause you suffering, so I love you unconditionally enough to put my own health/happiness/wholeness first and foremost, in order to demonstrate and give you permission to care for yourself in the same unconditionally loving way.
