I got a travel spray of this to test out. I wore it to see my girlfriend to test it out with 5 sprays on a hot summer day. She didn't notice it at all. She loves the scent but it seems like the performance isn't that great for me. Is this an issue anyone else has?
Sorry for the late reply brotha. Unfortunately a personal thing. On my skin it projects like a monster and fills the room and that's with 5 sprays only. One of the loudest scents in my collection for sure.
Sometimes samples are known to go bad since they're small and more susceptible to damage. Especially now that we're in the heat it can take a toll on the sample while it's being shipped to you. I'm hoping it's not the case with yours.
If you live near a store that carries Haltane. See if they'll let you try on skin just so you can get a second testing experience.

Franco, it’s been a while. I only recently found out about Haltane. It sounds good, a fresh green aromatic scent seems like it’s pretty good and masculine for anyone. Personally I say to hell with “age ranges” on most fragrances! I think as long as you shower, dress well, and are styled good, you can pull off any scent.
In my view, fragrances only add to your style. I’m in my early 20’s, I have pulled off BDC Parfum to work, in high heat. It’s a hell of a nice scent that’s kind of rough around the edges with the woodiness and sharp spiciness. I’ve pulled off YSL L’Homme Ultime. Something I’d consider the scents that are more for mid 20’s to later 20’s.
But since you mentioned that “back in the day” fragrances used to be more green, aromatic, earthy, and therefore more masculine, I realized why Kalan is my favorite PDM. In the far dry down there’s amazing sweetness, with the oudy earthiness. It seems like Haltane and Kalan would be cousins in some way.
Yeah man F the age range bs. A lot of these fragrances are too good to pass up! I'm glad to see a young guy like you so passionate about fragrances. You're well ahead your years. You already speak like an expert. By the time you turn 30 you're gonna be on a whole other level. Keep it up!
Man, you really make me want to get Kalan. I'm really curious to see if it is similar to Haltane. I never thought about that.

@@LifeWithFranco For sure! Will stick by ya. I been into since 2020. Actually I kind of developed a lot of my hobbies since that year. I want to get another PDM, I can't get a designer unless it's something like BDC Parfum or YSL Y EDP/Elixer. My tastes are forever changed 🤣
Kalan is, well you know my thoughts. I just wish it wasn't so crapped on by the community, what tf went wrong. Been wearing it daily for work and it is just so gorgeous.
@@Elictrix967 PDM converted you haha don't feel bad for having great taste. I'm the same. Once I got my PDMs I saw a massive difference between them and designers. They're just a lot more interesting and higher quality. And to be honest a lot of designers smell the same so it gets boring after awhile. PDM for life!🔥🔥🔥

You know, as I’ve worn Kalan (I know, I can’t stop talking about it), I edited my previous comments to give a more accurate interpretation of it, at least on my skin and whiffs of it in the air.
Galloway has intrigued me. It’s a citrusy, floral woody scent but fresher and more “beachy” from what I’ve seen. Lord knows a fresh PDM is next 😅
