awesome build, but i noticed when you are jumping onto your board you are doing it mongo (with your back foot first) that makes it harder to ride, thats why skaters put their main foot in the front and push with the back foot
It is so cool to see somebody ur age with such a command of tools and even just the English language! Bright future for u young man ! I’m subbing! Shred on from Colorado !
how do you turn when going down a hill? Like regular skateboarding turning or flipping the front up and aligning it with your front foot? I feel like the first one your feet can slide off and the second one it would be very difficult to get the correct direction, which one do you think is better?
I just found them at my local hardware store (ACE hardware) they are aluminum trim used for the edge of carpet and stuff I like think but you can use other things like PVC or any other aluminum!
Sweet thanks bro all ibneeded to hear, I wanted something harder and less pop so I condition myself I've been outa stating for like 3 months being back only for 2 weeks but I wanna get goooooodd this year so snow skating even if it's hard will help me immensely learning and gaining confidence
Nate, me and me friends used to to this during the 90's (age 12-16) every single winter, all winter long and we never had to replace our decks, and those were some trashy worn decks to begin with no longer good enough for regular skateboarding. The deck will outlive you, trust me. And we didn't have those fancy aluminum rails either, just bare wood.
wow dude, crazy good video. I wish I was making stuff like this at your age
Thank you 🙏
such a sick video good job man
thank you

I’m tryna build one of these but I’m gonna attach shoes to it so it’s more like a snowboard, any ideas how I’d attach the shoes?
hmmm maybe find some toe straps or plastic straps and screw them into the board. but you should look it up cause im sure its been done before

You kinda just shift your body weight like skateboarding and lean. Takes a bit of practice especially when going fast but it’s not to hard
@@HenriMTB Thank you very much!
No problem
Dang. Very nice 👍 thank you
Thanks!
what are the metal things you used?

Thanks bro 🙏 👍
Hey dude I wanted to ask if you were able to trick on it at all? I've wanted to make one myself and I really want get some tricks in too
Yes you can do a few basic tricks but it’s hard because you don’t get as much pop as a normal snowskate

Yeah!
Did the board end up getting waterlogged? I feel like that would be a big problem.
Nope not yet. So far it’s held up well the water just slides off.
