I just bought a 22 road glide special in gunship grey. 2 days ago. Just clocked 500miles. First bike ever.. I've only ever ridden quads in the dunes handful of times. This bike feels like I've been riding all my life. I'm 6'3 280 so I feel this is best mix of safety and performance. Got a couple of nice matching drag marks on the floor boards already too. I'm styling mine after the f14 tomcat. "Were going ballistic maverick!!!!!!"
I bought one of these a few months ago. I upgraded the bars, grips, exhaust and audio. It's a great machine. I didn't get the one with traction control... it's a pricey upgrade that I didn't think I'd need.
I was a Harley dealer from 1955 to 2020 also a Honda dealer from 1969 till 2020 . I have ridden bikes all my life . Each year I ride to Sturgis SD . I leave my home and ride to Sioux Falls SD almost 900 miles in one day . I have road straight to Sturgis in 24 hrs stopping only to gas up . All the years in business of both brands I would tell customers that no way I would ride a Gold Wing that far it’s not comfortable to me compared to a Harley. The Gold wing guys thought I was nuts . The seating position on a Gold Wing is not good because your legs are up under you . Goldwings are hot also. I would not have a Honda Goldwing . Buy the Harley you’ll love it . The resale is awesome on Harleys not so on Honda’s . Buy the Harley StreetGlide or Roadglide I have both forget everything else ! Hope this helps Russell Abernathy Abernathy Harley Honda retired now
@@russellabernathy3241 Many thanks for your thorough reply! Your experience with both bikes was extremely valuable info for me to consider. Interestingly, the bike I'm considering happens to be a Road Glide limited. It's a gorgeous bike (as it should be for $35k!) but it sure sounds based on the riding I do, it's a better option than the Wing. I've had GW's before and although they're find bikes, I've never been smitten by any of them! Thanks again Russell, if you ever find yourself in Western Pennsylvania please let me know. Would be pleased to buy you a beer or two.
@@russellabernathy3241 thanks Russell! I too currently have a Gold Wing F6B and am currently looking at the new HD Road Glide Limited. Appreciate your thoughts.
Thanks! I'm a huge fan of the shoe. In fact I'm wearing them right now. 10/10 would recommend. You can look them up with the following information: Part Number: 98627-18VM

Great job. We just bought one and your review of the bike helped immensely. Appreciate it!
Awesome! Glad to hear!
Just bought this same bike on Saturday! Excited to go for some long rides!
Congrats!! Go enjoy it!
I've owned an ultra limited and now a roadglide limited. Both great bikes but I like the roadglide a little better.
