You are very entertaining. I love watching you bake. It’s been 5 years since this video has posted and I’m sure you learned these tricks for pumpkin pie but if not, here you go. In order to prevent cracks in the middle it’s best to put the pie in a hot 450 degree oven and immediately turn the temp down to 325 to finish cooking for about 45 min-1hour. And you shouldn’t insert a knife into the center. The way you can tell if a pumpkin pie is done is if it jiggles ever so slightly in the middle. Hope this helps! Love your channel

+Lillie Rose - If you eliminate the sugar from this recipe, I'm not sure if it will have enough body so you might be better to look for a different recipe online for savory pumpkin pie. You can still use my crust.

yes, Splenda works great, but I use less evap milk (about 3 tablespoons, less, the cat gets this, lol). Other brands may not work if heated, like the blue pkg.

Our family recipe is just like this except about 25 years ago we began using honey in place of granulated sugar. Good pie recipe, all the kiddos love it!
