It’s the tortoise and the hare Dave!! Slow and steady…looks great! By the time you get everything else done, you’ll be ready to do the patio deck again!!😁 Love the t-shirt!!
lol yes in deed I'm wore out all ready. the shirt is a good one from back when the navy tore up them pirates out there trying take over cargo ships. my oldest sister got it for me. she retired from the department of the navy.
thanks so much he truly has been a blessing. I still miss my Ole Daisy Girl she was a walker hound and one in a million! this old Redbone is really bonding with me well. hounds are a special breed and not a dog for just anyone. he is very vocal most of the time. thanks for stopping by and speaking with me.
Hi Dave, saw this video include Copper so I had to reach out to you. I'm so glad you kept Copper...he seems like a good boy. It is nice to have a companion when you are out doing projects or hanging out in the yard! I'm sure he isn't a replacement for Daisy, but he will be just as good a friend...only different. Take care and God Bless you!
yes Bill he has been a real blessing. Daisy is never far from my thoughts especially when copper has to be tethered or he simply runs off and dont come home. it makes me sad for copper because Id like him to be more free to roam like Daisy was. maybe in time he will be able to come off this tethered line. he does have a nice pen to play in.
@@daveknowshow Someone once said that "hope springs eternal". We have a rescue husky/lab cross and she likes to run...we bought a wireless fence system and trained her. She now has free run of our yard and can be loose. Our last rescue started the same way...eventually, as he "grew up", he never left the yard. Dave, I think in time Copper will figure it out. Blessing to you my friend!
Hi Dave, good to see you making a video, Sorry to hear you lost your mum after just reading a post below and know how tough it is as I have just lost my mum last week after a tough time looking after her. It is hard getting used to an empty house apart from my two cats. May God shine the light that leads us on :-)
so very sorry to hear about your mom as well. Today I went to my mom's sister's viewing she passed this last week. we were very close her and I so here I go again. its tough man may God keep us both going
Good to see you back in action Dave. I just got through doing my patio. It's amazing how dirty it gets over the winter. Is that a hot water pressure washer? Have a safe and fun Summer my friend. later
thanks Larry I hope you are both doing well. the patio turned out nice but man oh man was I hurting afterwards. I could not even open my hands fully from the pain.
Like seeing you back on YT! That was a big difference on the patio. I do the same with videos. Have a great 4th weekend Dave! Nice to see you my friend! See ya!
Hey there Dave. Is your patio porch on the north side of the house? My north side of house gets a lot of mildew build up on concrete, brick, as well as the shingled roof. I'm sure you've seen shingle rooves that look like there's bad staining on them. That's algae that formed. Good seeing your video. Man, that's one fine looking dog, brother. What's his name? Alright my brother, gotta run. Take it easy and will see you in your next adventure. Full-watch. Say hey to Mom for me 😊. Don 👍🏽🙂 6/28/22
hey Don his name is Copper. he is a redbone hound. been a real blessing to me. I lost mom Jan 1st 2022 at 12:30 noon. its been a rough time for me. I miss her like crazy! thanks for asking about her.
@@daveknowshow , so sorry for your loss Dave. I can relate to how you feel. Lost my Mother to cancer in ‘92. Lost my Dad inFebruary of’19 at age 94. Still miss him terribly. We were 2 bulls in the same pasture when we were farming together but I loved him dearly. Very special guy.
@@daveknowshow Oh my Dave, I am so sorry to hear about your mom. I did not mean to mention had I known. I know your Mom was special and I loved how you'd relay my best wishes to her. My brother, that void is difficult to fill but our Father will fill your heart with His love. I was a mess when I lost my mom and then the same when dad passed. I have memories of them loving us boys and we'd gather around the kitchen and sing a tune or so. I just hoped I hadn't disappointed them with some of my decisions in life. The worst part for me was that I was not home during their passing and that hurt me the most but I never forget what they taught me. At least my dad lived long enough to see my my sons. We came from a family of all boys. (4 boys). Several generations of all boys. Alright my brother, just reach out if there's anything you need or anything I may do. Love that Copper boy. He's a fine looking hound. Stay in touch if you get some time.
@@houndsmanone4563 thanks Don, its been hard. I have a lot to sort out with my life now. I keep saying I'm going to make a video to let everyone know about mom but I just been a complete mess every since.
@@tractortalkwithgary1271 I know what you mean, my Dad and I had a strained relationship. in the end I help mom take care of him till he passed with Alzheimer's. it was a rough time seeing him go down hill fast. he passed on my birthday which really hit me hard. mom and I were very close and had a very special bond. so far I been lost with out her but I have no regrets in how I took care of her. I know I did way more to keep her alive and safe than many would have. I almost feel numb over it. I spend a lot of time at the cemetery since she passed. I think my sisters may settle down and not sue me or contest mom's will. all I can do is wait and see. been a lot of threats from them all. just have to wait and see. not likely to change a thing if they take it to court except cost a lot of money! money I really do not have to spend.
