Today we're checking out the newest song by the American metal band, Disturbed, Don't Tell Me featuring Ann Wilson from Heart!!
Amazing that at 73 years old, Ann hasn’t lost an ounce of her vocal strength. Unmistakeable voice and a hell of a collab.

This song was on Disturbed’s fall ‘22 album. Dan Donegan the lead guitarist/pianist had gotten a very painful divorce and he went to David Draiman with the concept of the song. As he and David tried to finish it together, they realized that they needed a female vocal counterpart. The only one they would consider was Ann Wilson. Years before David and Ann indicated publicly their mutual respect for each other’s voices. She indicated that she’d love to collaborate someday. She agreed to duet with David on this. This official video just came out, over a year after song’s release. Sadly, David went through an extremely painful divorce last year, too. You can hear the pain in his voice and see it on his face. That is why Ann’s voice fades away and so does the music! David’s pain is what’s left. Very impactful!

my favorite will probably always be "Save our last good bye"...It sends chills down my spine and gives me goosebumps every single time I listen to it
