The British should be very proud. It was an amazing coronation. Thank you for sharing this important moment with the rest of the world. Love from the Netherlands.
Pride is a bit tricky, as sinful. But should we feel love for each other and the world? - yes! Should we offer our love and unity and talent to the world? - yes! Should we accept that much of our art, and especially the words and music of our country, has been helped to transcend - whether we know it or not - by the Holy Spirit? Yes. Even in a country that views itself as secular and non-spiritual, it keeps bursting out from just below the surface. Paloma actually means "dove" - the symbol of the Spirit, while the name Faith does not need explaining!!! Should we view it as significant that our flag carries the Crosses of Saints Andrew, Patrick and George? Yes. The above (highly spiritual) song is divine just below the surface, bearing a strong resemblance to Psalm 23. The Coronation was only done in the way it was and is done in the UK (unlike, now, in your country) - to give the Holy Spirit a chance to come down and give our King further strength and wisdom and piety. None of us here expected it would be quite so clear in the service, but it was. A beautiful, wonderful and ancient thing. In the context, we should not be surprised if the Holy Spirit helped out at the concert too, which He indeed did! That is mainly a cause for joy and wonder and humility and unity and kindness. Which it indeed was and is.
On this occasion, in the context of the Coronation, but not for the first time, we had some inspiring help from the Holy Spirit - the beloved and ever-active stimulator through truth, love, cleansing and healing, of human artistic genius and talent...
This was the classiest event I’ve seen in a long time. Everyone was very respectful, great talent, no nudity or suggestive behavior. This is what the Super Bowl should be. Family entertainment. Thank you UK. Loved every minute of it. ❣️🇬🇧🇺🇸🏴
Don't know why but just thinking of her Majesty Queen Elizabeth looking down from heaven smiling.... Like it was the final moment of her loss to me.... Beautiful performance and the best one..... Thank you...
When a Christian such as her Majesty dies, she is not lost. (not even to us, and certainly not from the own point of view) One reason why she was willing to accept the Holy Spirit's invitation in 2022. So that we could see in that year the contrast between Putin's absurd evil and something divine and good, uplifting and unifying (the mourning and funeral for Her Late Majesty). We are being shown good versus evil and asked to accept the former and reject the latter.
Its too bad I'm homeless and living on the street. What a fascinating historical event: the crowning of a new King of England. Gorgeous graphics in the background - was that Welsh with the Dragon of Wales? Paloma always has such gorgeous, fun music. Glad she came out to perform. London - and the rest of the UK put it on!!!
Yes it was the Welsh dragon. I think it would of been if they done the English Lion over London, the Unicorn over Edinburgh, and the Red Hand of Ulster over Belfast
A great performance by Paloma. I'm so pleased she was asked to take part in the concert as not only is she talented she genuinely cares about the problems caused by climate change.👋❤
You want people to wake up, yet her song is a lullaby! Of course "she" is Paloma (the dove that symbolises the Holy Spirit) With the surname "faith"! "Lullaby" actually means to get rid of Lilith, the demon that possessed women, as described in the Bible. Then we sleep soundly. If Paloma never does anything greater than the above, she will have performed her great task. The context was full of the Holy Spirit (the purpose of the Coronation, when all is said and done). And she sang the beautiful song, sang her heart out... There is only one way we can reconcile the lyrics of "all I need is somebody near me when my heart gets weak, somebody out there watching over me" And we see the water pour out on the EDEN Project, near SAINT Austell... And each flag waved has three crosses on it...
Great that you get that. You are absolutely right. Take That (whose name means what the good guy says as he strikes back at the bad guy) sang one song about light, one about humility and one about the Last Judgment. Paloma (meaning dove) and Faith (meaning faith!!!) - symbolising the Holy Spirit whose Coronation of the King this was - sang about loving (and receiving love from) the one who can be close to us but also above us (speaks for itself, really, does it not?) The Holy Spirit would never lie to us (he is love and truth), but like the first Paraclete He offers signs that some can read a bit and a few can read a lot more. The discovery process is a mixture of emotion and faith (!!!) and growing wisdom and enlightenment - precisely why Jesus used parables rather than putting things absolutely straight...
Pennyworth follows the Wayne family's legendary butler, Alfred Pennyworth, a former British SAS soldier who forms a security company and goes to work with Thomas Wayne in 1960s London.

She has an interesting way of singing her songs
As we all saw, the Coronation was (is) a profoundly spiritual event, in which the Holy Spirit is asked to come and support the King and all he does.
The Concert also has its divine and spirtual side, as we see!
In the course of it, Take That sang three songs that are deeply religious if one only scratches the surface (where "Take That" is traditionally what the good guy says when he hits out at the bad guy).
Paloma of course means "dove", representative of the Holy Spirit, so this is the dove of Faith!
A pretty apt name.
Sigala's real name is Bruce Fielder, while Paloma's surname is Blomfield, so we are "out in the fields" ... with the lilies...
Sigala is based ... inevitably ... in "King's Cross" (i.e. the Cross of the King - a supplying role he may be playing in the context with this song)
While the song lullaby is considered to relate to romantic love (as a sub-part of the love that pervades the universe), it can rather easily be reinterpreted as relating to God and divine love.
If the song begins with a request "will you lay me down?" that might go in an erotic suggestion, but the stronger immediate suggestion suggests Psalm 23 - "He makes me lie down in green pastures" (so we've gone from Fields to Pastures!). "make me lie down" is in essence the same as "lay me down", though the latter is more gentle of course. If our hearts are the only sound then that is being "still" and Psalm 23 refers to "still waters" (which of course run deep). The name "Bruce" actually means place of willows, which of course suggests a lowland river!!!
We can wrestle our fears to the ground, but here they are to be thrown (i.e. cast). This is quite remarkable as the AntiChrist will seek to cast TRUTH to the ground, but here it is FEAR that is being dealt with in this way.
This continues the good-evil struggle message that has been present in the 2020s, and was made manifest in the Holy Spirit's decision (with Her Late Majesty's acceptance) that she should die as a sign of the good things in the world standing in contrast with the evil manifest in Putin and his absurd war. The singer then asks to be held and serenaded until night turns into day - this is an obvious (veiled) reference to Jesus, who is the Day Star ad bringer of light to the world.
Very tellingly, the singer wants - at the same time - somebody near for when she is faint of heart, but SIMULTANEOUSLY "out there watching over me".
This is an absolutely crystal clear reference to God (as Three-in-One). The only source of love that can be simultaneously in us and with us and over us.
"When I'm so tired, I can't even sleep. Won't you sing me your sweet lullaby? Just the sound of your voice is the thing that I need"
Further spiritual-sounding lyrics suggest that we hear the song, but also sing along with it - participatory involvement as well as passive.
"When I'm not feeling strong"
It is only at this point that the word "lullaby" comes in, suggesting powerfully a change from an adult to a childhood state, just as Jesus asks us to be like children if we are to enter the Kingdom of God.
Many people believe that "lullaby" actually means "Lilith be gone" - which is the banishment of demons...
Remarkably, the song then switches further, suggesting that the singer might be there when the interlocutor is down, on the basis of love that can be shouted out (as we do with Hallelujah), and is a binding commitment. At the time of Crucifixion Jesus sought human support, but mostly did not get it.
Of course that could be romantic love and attachment, but it is made clear by the song that it lasts "forever". Eternal love is a property of God, not human beings.
"No journey is too far for the one who healed my scars" (that's pilgrimage in gratitute which has taken place for centuries).
