I immediately lied & said I was from Compton & that I don't bang, this one big dude he was 6'3 200lbs he looked young though like he might've only been 19, he stepped up & was like "Ngga F Compton!". I'm white and I grew up in the Original Florence neighborhood and I know the guy who started Florencia Locos in that neighborhood. I'm a REALTOR and I thought I was in a Florence clique neighborhood and had never heard of 6-duece. I was driving 🚗 a Blue Mercedes and had on a blue Dodger cap. When I figured out what was what, I apologized to one of the OG's about the color of my car, shirt and Dodger cap. He said that they don't trip off of colors like they used to in the 80's and then said "Besides, u cool as fuck and a white man, u can wear whatever the fuck you want to." I LMAO and drove a different car and different color clothing in that neighborhood after that, following the better safe than sorry philosophy. 😞
