Honestly, it really bothers me that ppl are bashing Susan for using high end products. Look...it works for her. That’s the point of this video. Skincare is always worth more than makeup. You only have one face and skin so it’s worth it to take care of it. What I suggest instead of asking why does she buy expensive products (I do too!) do this instead: learn your skin type, google for skincare that is effective for your skin. Sephora has a huge range of prices for skincare along with Amazon. Korean skincare are usually more on the affordable side and websites like SokoGlam is a great start to find what you need. Let’s not bash or being envious of others, but use their information for ourselves! ❤️❤️❤️
Komerican10 I love Sokoglam products! 👍 But truly, this video is my list of favorites for the year and they happen to be pricey. I’m not going to lie about what I like. Thanks for sticking with me. 🤗
Yep people are just shitty because they can’t afford it, but that’s they’re problem and not Susan’s. She works hard for her money, can afford the products and enjoys buying more luxe products and people need to understand that if that offends them somehow it’s entirely their problem...
Lana Sa exactly! Like today someone made the stupid assumption that just because they can’t afford going on cruises that no one can. Um...cruises aren’t THAT expensive (you can go on one for $200) and why would ppl hate on those that work their asses off to enjoy life? I work hard and play hard! Nothing wrong with that!
Komerican10 I am absolutely the same I am all about skincare finding the best skin care that fits your skin type, budget, and time is the key. Because let’s face it not everyone has the same skin type or the budget or time to spend on so many steps. But once you find what works for you all the better. Admittedly I can spend a lot on skin care and not so much on makeup. Especially because when you have a skin that’s good enough that you don’t need so much make up and are able to use it as luxury and not as a cover up. It’s definitely a good thing and well with the extra cost.
I really had a hard time choosing these products but at the end of the day, I’ve been using all of these so much and love them! Hope you do too! Let me know which products you want me to try in 2019!
Hi Susan!! Thank you so much!!! Love your videos!! .... would you ever consider making a video on what ingredients you suggest to avoid in skincare products .... thanks again💕
Even though Susan's makeup is so flawless and beautiful...when she was showing the comparison of her face with and without makeup...there was no difference! Her skin is so beautiful!!!
My routine for oily skin: La Roche Posay Toleriane Purifying Foam Cleanser, Buff City Soap Toner, Olay Complete Defense SPF 30 (daytime), Differin Gel (nighttime), No7 Protect and Perfect Serum (nighttime)
* Dry shampoo + Hairspray = Texturing spray! Susan- All your product recommendations are wonderful! I can’t wait to try. Quai Texturing spray! I am a major fan of the Elemis Pro Collagen Cleansing Balm too! Feel like I am having a mini spa each time I use it. Love it and have used it for many years.
oh yes, I just bought my first microfibre hair towel in a sports shop! It was supposed to be for swimmers...I LOVE IT! Going to get more for my friends and Mum. And it cost 3€ (in Germany)...incredible gamechanger!
Eeek! I always put my hair in a towel to dry! So glad I saw this! Good news I bought one of the Aquis turbans from FFF, so I have to find it and start using it. Lots of great ideas to try new products. I am really interested in the Elemis Cleansing Balm - will have to try. Thanks Susan!
Can I use the Verso Retinol if I never even used retinol in my routine? will it be too strong for me? and If I am going to use it how many times per week shall I use it plus shall I combine it with any other product? PS: I am 28, my skin type is normal to dry skin, pretty clear but rarely I got small zit in the T zone. your response is highly appreciated. Thank you, xoxo
Hi Carla! I don't use setting spray all the time, so I didn't include in this roundup, but one I liked this year is by Bobbi Brown. Also, Nikki my makeup artist loves the Urban Decay.
Great products Susan. What eyeshadow are you wearing in this video. Do you have a easy travel stick eyeshadow stick you would recommend. I am trying to condense my travel routine to minimal and instead of pallet and brushes I just want a stick with my finger. Many thanks
i am sure they r best of the best n there's no need for u to try n test something more affordable. It is what it is. Ppl need to get a grip. Personally, i cannot afford any of these atleast yet.. but when i do want to spend my money reviews like these r greatly helpful coz it's a lot of money to try out 1000s of product to find the good ones. Thanks MM
I can't agree more with the verso serum! Its such an unknown brand ur the first person ive ever heard talking about it😭 It is soooo great! U should also try their eye serum and day cream they r both unbelievable!
This is Susan’s ride or dies, not a dupes video. If you can’t afford the products, that’s chill but you don’t have to get so upset about not being able to afford some of them. Do your own research or watch a drugstore products video instead. some of the products are fairly affordable as well.

They have actual dermatologists create your serums for your skincare needs! It’s not expensive at all and worth it! Plus for night cream I either use La Mer or Sisley (my current) and day cream is the Biossiance (the one company that you were sponsored by) along with Tony Moly facial SPF OIL!! Yes an oil SPF! Brianna Shanholtzer I’ve had a prescription before. I find it to be too harsh for my skin to use regularly, so I’m constantly on the lookout for an OTC retinol I can use often and see actual results. That’s why I like the Verso Serum.
@@SusanYara have you tried epiduo? It's part adapalene and part benzolperoxyde and can be worn over your mosturizing cream if it's too harsh. It's pretty bomb!
For some reason the Hourglass mascara didn’t work for me whatsoever! I researched for hours and found so many rave reviews, but it was potentially the worst mascara I’ve ever tried...I wonder why it didn’t work for me. It was lengthening BUT it clumped up my eyelashes so badly, even though I wiped the extra product off with a tissue first.
I STILL haven't tried the Elemis balm despite you talking about it ALL YEAR LONG. haha Also, I just got the new Fenty gloss shade FU$$Y and I love it even more than the Fenty Glow shade. It's SO GOOD.
hey Susan, you may want to reconsider publicly promoting sunday riley products to your audience. it’s been confirmed that they instruct their employees to make fake sephora accounts and leave positive reviews on their products, specifically targeting people dealing with acne and other skin insecurities. while it may be a good product to you and other people, it’s really misleading to folks searching for their skincare answer, especially with the price tag.
Hey, she is using Sunday Riley, like I do because they WORK! What they do aside from that is their business. It’s about the products, not the ppl. The serum she mentioned is amazing and I recommend it too!
