I ate at Whataburger in Mesa, Arizona and I thought it was amazing!
Whataburger is one of those burger joints that usually has good food.
About 8 years ago I took my Mom on a trip to Waco (she loved that show Fixer Upper) and we tried Whataburger. It had such a funny name! I enjoyed it, it wasn't special like you said but it was decent. I remember they made a big deal of coming over with the condiments which confused me, coming from New York. The avocado burger did look good. I also like mustard on my burger which was something that I tried as a kid in imitation of Whimpy on Popeye!
Sometimes they have a seasonal special. Last year they had a green chili burger. That was really good. I don't have very high hopes when it comes to fast food but you never know when something great will pop up. 😀
@@bestfoodreviewroadtrip7612 speaking of great...if you all get a chance to go through Albuquerque new Mexico & try their Green Chli Burger Omg...its really good I had to try it since I was in New Mexico you can get a choice of red sauce or green sauce or what they call: ( Christmas wich is a combo of green chili & red chili sauce)😊😉
Now you've got to try Blake's Lotaburger in New Mexico.

We tried it in Harlingen. We are not fans. We are going to try it again to see if we just got a bad location
We've tried it a couple times, it's been hit & miss. I don't usually have high expectations when it comes to fast food, but Amy used to live in Texas when she was young. For her it's nostalgic.

I've lived in alot of places in small towns on Texas & visited many other 1s as well, my family has traveled alot& wanted to see the country & we totally ended up in the state of Texas after driving thru it for days seems like it took forever to get out of Texas 😅😅

We like Whataburger but headed West we will be hitting up our 2 favorite fast food places which are In & Out & Burgerville. Keep watching 😀
@@bestfoodreviewroadtrip7612 if you go to In& Out burger be sure& get the Double Double burger its pretty popular last time I ate at a place like that was in California when my parents were together now they finally built 1 in san antonio Texas enjoy your trip up west& be safe Amy& Paul!😊😊
