WWE 2K23 Sliders Update: Full Breakdown, Easy Pinfalls, Comparisons, Examples & Suggestions!

- If you're struggling with the pin system in WWE 2K23 this video will show you how you can customise the pin mini-game to make kicking out easier, or if you want more of a challenge, we'll show you how to make it insanely difficult!
As part of a new update for WWE 2K23 the advanced gameplay sliders that allow players to fully customise the timing pin mini-game, submission system and the strength of signature and finishers have been updated.
The update sees the sliders renamed to make them easier to understand, with a new blog post on the WWE 2K website going into further detail on each slider and how it affects gameplay.
To further explain the sliders and show how they can be adjusted to make the game easier for new, or younger players (or harder experienced veterans!), this video will go through all of the pin difficulty, timing pin mini-game and submission mini-game settings and show examples of each slider in action.

If you're still having problems with the pin system after adjusting the sliders you can also switch to the Rapid Pin Mini-Game in the gameplay settings. This will change the pin system to a rapid button press system that sees you have to rapidly press the button the fill the circle and kickout of the pin fall.

It was a great guide. I was happy to find out you can stop the kick out zone moving. Both the indicator and the zone moving really messed with my eyes.
They should really try to fix universe mode.

@@inorosan for starters The Royal Rumble is still extremely glitchy, if you try to customize it.
@@inorosan with universe mode the cut cut scenes are nice but you can’t do four man stables and the mangers are always glitchy as there’s a lot of problems 2k need to fix

While I am strictly on Fire Pro Wrestling World these days, as someone who has run a CAW CPU sim roster for 20+ years, I am so happy to see the 2K franchise up the AI customization settings in the Fire Pro direction, as ultimately I want wrestling games in general to improve and flourish.

I highly doubt it works for Online...
Fun fact did you know you don’t even need to flick the right analog stick to kick out of the timed pin? You can still kick out the old way by just pressing the x button on PlayStation. I’ve been doing that since the game came out
That's still hard wwe2k22 pin was more easier
For me it's weird, most of the times i either kick out at 1 out of a signature, finisher very easily or i don't kick out after a normal move
@@thegamingzone5963 well it also depends on how much damage you take during the course of the match it’s going to be harder. But I’ve very rarely had any issues with it
@@Sindr0mYEAH i think it’s supposed to be like that in a way. I think the idea was to make it like it is on tv. But also this games only been out for a few weeks so we could see some more fixes in the coming months.

They need a slider for tag team CPU interference. I don’t mind a break up from time to time but after 8-10 mins of gameplay the illegal partner comes flying a cross the ring like the Flash every single time. They should set it to 3-4-5 finishers don’t interrupt or at least make my partner quicker to the draw on a few of them

btw, could you please explain all those icons (like the head with red background) in the HUD please?
If your head in the hud is red, that means your opponent’s damaged your head a lot. It does that for head, torso, and arms and legs. It’ll go from nothing, to yellow, to orange, then red. The more amount of damage to a certain body part, the easier it is to submit them with a submission targeting that body part. For example, if I damage my opponent’s arm to where it’s in the red, and then use an armbar submission, they’re probably going to tap. If you try going for an armbar at the start of a match, when the body part is clear, the chances of them tapping are next to none.

I'm not sure what's on the list of fixes but there is a big patch update coming soon so hopefully that might fix it 🤞
This will work well for people that do HLR matches.
"Post Kickout Damage Recovery" is labeled wrong. What it actually does is set the overall difficulty of kickouts. Saw this on another UA-cam video and tried it myself when I was having trouble with AI kicking out of multiple finishers. 0 is the easiest and 100 is the hardest for both player and AI sliders.
OMFG THANK YOU DUDE! IVE BEEN TRYING TO FIND WHAT CAUSES THE KICKOUTS ALL YEAR! Ran 3 test matches with it at 100 and haven’t had any kickouts after finishers
I really hope they fix the bugs with Create an arena, there are still some issues with the Playstation 4 version when creating a custom arena. I can't even use my custom images, 2k22 wasnt like that. There was absolutely nothing wrong with 2k22 when I use custom images, but on 2k23 its quite difficult to use images when its too buggy.
Have a question hope you can answer. I changed the pin values several times, but I don’t get the result that you show in the video, sometimes the Knick out zone is big then the next match is really small? Do you know why is that? It seems like it works only with some wrestlers.thanks
Be nice if roll out sliders worked. im gettin 2-4 roll out in singles and tag matches (i understand fatals) per match and i have values at 0-100....reversals and everything else seem to work but roll outs dont
From my own testing, I'm pretty certain the submission penalty refers to an amount of time after pressing the wrong button in which you can't make progress, not a reverse effect, if that makes sense
Does the A.I. plan according to the sliders though? One thing I got sick of over the years was the A.I. instantly going for a pin after every signature, messing up the flow of the match.
Does this apply to MyFaction? As this is what I'm playing mainly, and although I'm doing it all on legendary, it can be a pain when they kick out of a finisher or two as well as submissions after a finisher

Create arena is still bugged if you place a logo on the Titantron and go to put one on the digital board one or the other disappears an becomes a video also barrier letter fonts ain't showing an some stage parts don't stay where you last placed them on PS4,PS5.

nah, you can't, it's broken rn
Thewrong press penalty sliders do work but the other way around, if you set them to 0 then you dont get penalized for pressing the wrong buttons if you set it to 100 you do get penalized for it so other way around and different then what you said. Me and BigRighteous been experimenting with these a couple weeks ago.
Any idea as to why I’ve set the zone speed to 0 and it’s still moving on legend difficulty? Any help would be appreciated
Honestly this pin reminds me of the old kickout system in 2k15 which I hated I liked the one that was in 2K16-2K20 honestly

I thought the 2+ and 3+ sliders were how many time the finisher was performed prior to pinning them

Idk where I went wrong in adjusting these sliders but every time I'd do so much damage to an opponent and hit them with sigs and finishers and cause heavy damage, I'd get infinite 2 counts (even on easy) and the only way I could win was by submission. I then reset them to default and it went back to normal again.
If you enter the slider settings to much the game will glitch with infinite pins. The only way to fix it is to default the settings

I use the button mashing and have i no problem and prefer that way then new pin system in 2k23
But the thing is when i put on a finisher on the AI and his body is fully red they still kick out even hes been down for a while not sure why they kick out of every finisher i put them in makes no sense idk wat im doing wrong
They need to fix the animation for less than a 1 count kickout every time my character stares down the Ai and won’t move the Ai will just walk over and hit me and I can’t counter as a result of the animation I’m stuck in

I'm happy to say the AI has been kicking my ass lately. The last game felt too easy, so this is only gonna make harder challenges and I'm interested.

Smacktalks I have something people may not know and it needs patching. If you put caws in GM mode. It will just go on a internal loading loop and it needs patching as it crashes the game.

What is the easiest and the best slider settings for tag team matches against the AI? Tried to beat the AI tag team with a double-team finishing move and they kept kicking out the pin! But when I hit the AI opponent with a submission hold, the AI tapped out with no problem! Why? I need to know what are the best numbers to achieve victory on my end as a player. In my house, it should be my game, my rules, meaning I never lose against the AI, ever! Please help ASAP at your earliest convenience! Thank you for your time, have a blessed day!
I just switched over to the button mash to kick out system and instantly never had a problem again, now all we need is AI sliders

We need a slider to adjust how often/quickly tag partners jump in to break up pinfalls, my god. Getting my pinfalls broken up by practically teleporting superstars at a 1 count is already old and obnoxious.
And when I set it to max for player and minimum for AI they kick out before the ref counts at all 😅
Because the Post-Kickout Damage Recovery sliders doesn't actually modify damage recovery. They're labeled wrong. They set overall kickout difficulty. 0 is easiest and 100 is hardest,
My opponents keep kicking out of the pins no matter how damaged they are or how many finishers I do! I need a way to fix that problem!
When I'm playing the game, reversals, pin and submission games are shown to me by just an outline of the icon, and doesn't show me what buttons I need to press and it often leads me to losing alot. Anyone able to help at all? 😢😢😢😢

Not yet. I pointed that out to one of the developers during the 2K event last month so i'm hoping it's one of the things that gets fixed in the next patch 🤞

Me too, universe is just so broken right now. I’ve spent weeks trying to make a perfect universe mode. Shoulda went great but it’s so bugged everywhere. Rivalries, mitb, royal rumble, trios, man I could go on and on😭
They need to make updates to roster gear , gm updates can have title match in 3 way or 4 way
The first count lock is only for you. Ai will still kick out at one if they can.
They still need to fix some issues it still keeps crashing during creation suite.

I played with this settings on day 1 and now my matches end in 1 finisher like how tv matches end.

That’s supposed to be coming with the big patch soon. They can’t just snap their fingers. With the plethora of issues they would have to gear up for a bigger patch.

I’m trying to understand why people are having a hard time with the a.i kick outs. With certain superstars You just have to beat up the AI enough after they’re in the red and they won’t kick out of the second finisher Just like irl and Player kick outs is not a problem for me whatsoever in UM or Play mode.
