I couldn't agree more, it was like everyones souls were intertwined in this crazy spiritual event, some shows more than others.I remember one when the played "The Tower" and it was such a euphoric chaos in the mosh pit with this pounding bass and such powerful vocals as everyone moved in unison. Such an amazing feeling can't be described, only experiencing it really can explain it. Wish they could do a reunion set for us loyal fans in Victoria!
@@davehart817 I’ll never ever forget seeing them for the first time, it was right after “why do they call me mr. Happy?” And they started out with about 4 songs from Mama. It hadn’t been a favorite album of mine, but when I saw them play it live (with two drummers) I suddenly understood the intent of the song. It was unreal. Red devil was the first song and it was so powerful. They played the tower too and Rob surfed the crowd during the bridge. It transcended everything.
Then imagine me as a 18-years-old teen discovering NoMeansNo EXACTLY when they stopped touring, summer of '13. I hate myself for a life for being late.
Aha, ja tez kolego. Jestem z Kanady ale jak pojechałem do Polski to się o nich dowiedziałem. Ale potem jak wróciłem do Kanady to ich pare razy widziałem live. Wspaniała grupa! Czołem!
I saw NMN multiple times in Edmonton when they were just starting out and I was also fortunate enough to see them in Vancouver, Winnipeg, Halifax and then one last time at North 6th in Brooklyn before they called it quits. They never failed to be anything but great.
I am pretty sure it was not really possible, because in Hungary, when a guy went onto the stage to kiss Rob on the cheeks, he immediately got pushed down by the security guy. You can even see a footage of it on here. "The End Of All Things, Hungary, A38".
Best punk band ever
and D.O.A, M.D.C. etc.
Bad brains? I luv that bass sound of No means No.
I mean...it's not really particularly close, is it?
They are more than punk band ... i hope you know what i mean ;)
It isn’t close. I avidly listener to DK and Bad Brains and The Ramones, etc. NMN is ahead by a margin.
Really wish NMN would reform and make music again. Miss them massively.... Pretty much beyond compare... Lovely fans too....
I never got to see them... :(
Oliver Greer Just keep hoping for a Joyful Reunion, I haven't given up hope yet...
So they actually did split?
@Kiss-Horváth Ferenc So sad!!
@@SuneWorld Retired rather than split, but yes. They went on hiatus and then the hiatus became permanent...
One of the most underrated drummers EVER. Great song 🤘🏼
My whole fucking kingdom to see them live again
Go see a Dead Bob show, they even do a few songs….
NMN - I miss you - hope you´re well. Great Song.
Rob’s voice was always super powerful. This is an absolute belter.

Only saw them once (the Bristol leg of the same European tour as this video) , I keep coming back to this video just to re-live it ...

Rodent Hour got to see them at Mercury Lounge & the North 6th show. So good!
The most powerful Nomeansno song!
Oh, man. Too many to name. They had written tons of touching stuff.
Immensi...immensi,..immensi. Tramanderò i miei vilnili ai miei nipoti dicendogli Io c'ero porca Madosca !!!
The best show I saw, they opened as the Hanson bros then played as Nomeansno. They played an incredible rendition of the 'Love Boat'
show theme song.
That is awesome! I wish I saw/heard that
Absolutely superb. Driving.
Oh how I like these guys 🤗
My best friend and I stormed the stage over ten years ago and sang this song with Rob.
Most awesome experience!! Rob smiled the whole time!!!

3 words only NO MEANS NO
Fuck, John works hard. How does that geezer manage to not have a jammer drumming this?
because he cares and is a God
I wouldn't agree, but I wouldn't argue.
I love you
was there footage of the Deadbeat intro with Rob singing over that this follows on from?
