New find. Ordering a kit TODAY. This is why I don't trow away old "Busted" tires. So many side wall damaged tires. So little time. Thank you Jake. You made my day.
I’ve got a Maxxis Carnivore sidewall repaired with this stuff and it’s unreal how well it works. It had a 4-5” cut in it and a buddy and I patched it up with this compound. It’s been mounted up for 6+ months now and has lost zero air pressure since doing it.
I've never bought new rzr tires because I've worn them out its always because of cuts in the sidewall. So I just ordered this stuff and hopefully I'll be able to fix the pile of tires I got behind my house
Not just tyres, used mine to repair water hoses and turbo hoses. Has held up well and saved the day on expeditions. An absolute essential for any long trips or expeditions.
Korben yes it did. It comes down to the preparation you do. If you key the area well and make sure free of contaminants the product will effect a permanent repair.. It room temperature vulcanises to a firm yet flexible rubber material. I have not done any pressure testing but absolutely no reason to think it any weaker than the original item? Has any pressure testing been done? I know it holds 38 psi easily as this is what my truck tyre was pumped up to and it held perfect. This is way more than any engine hose has to take? I have been informed that the military now recommends it? My tyre still good after thousands of miles so safe to think of as a permanent repair? I have just repaired a rear tyre on a farm tractor with it and all is good. If it has saved the tyre then that's a big bucks saving!
Man, that looks like the real thing for tractor tires. I had a steel bar go through a brand spankin new 14.9x38, and the tire shop told me that was it. If I would have had this back then, I could have saved that tire. I want to get a kit to have on the shelf.
I'm in the same boat.. bought a brand new set of Firestone 12 ply 11.00 x16 4 ribs and 2nd day on a new rent farm I had a hedge log go thru the face of the tire bigger than my fist.. no body locally will try and cook it to patch it up .. so I'm on youtube. .lol
Just thrashed the sidewall of a toyo open country RT rock crawling here in Utah. This product looks to be a great addition to my arsenal of 4wd gear haha offroad tires ain't cheap!
Rema Tip Top makes only the best stuff. It's too be noted though that this stuff is not for your highway running rigs. Not that it wouldn't work but Rema says to not use it on any tire going over 35mph. Great video and demonstration.
I have several ITP tires and BigHorns that are almost new with sidewall holes. Looks like a great way to get some use out of those tires and have a few good spares laying around for the RZR.
I live in Northern MIchigan where we have 4 seasons and its worked great on my 42 MTR that took a tree root through the sidewall!! We haven't had an issue with it since... summer or winter holds air at whatever psi.
Well I'll be dammed. Would never guessed that would work! I had a 38.5X15.50 bogger that sure would have greatly benefited from that there magic gunk!!!
I live up in pa. My sticky swampers have developed cracks between the tread due to the cold temps in the winter. No leaks yet but I wonder if this would be suitable to fill the cracks before they end up getting punctured.
This is going to be used, and I’m sure I’ll get some laughs, but on Cooper ST Pros on my bush/work/hunting truck as well as on Firestone skidder tires on skidders at work.
I needed some of that today woulda probably worked better than the patch I did on my 39.5/15. probably gana order some of that incase the patch dont hold.
That is great stuff gonna repair a tire on a massey Ferguson tractor that was ran low pressure and started to uncap at the lugs bad enough it is down to the belts on some and leaking air and water 14.9.24 and i will try it wit one kit
I've got a big 6 day trip coming up where I plan on hitting 5+ offroad parks in the south and I don't have a spare 43" SX and I don't really have room for one either. I'm thinking this "spare tire kit" will fit the bill :)
I'd definitely put good use to this on my buddies and my UTV's.. my question is what's the shelf life of the product? I wouldn't mind spending the money if it will last a couple years
I need this stuff for an atv tire that has a 2” gash inbetween two lugs, id have bought a new tire but they’re discontinued so this could be a life saver from having to buy 4 new tires
I would like to buy some and try it on my 42” super swampers. Then maybe I can go rock crawling again. The wife won’t let me spend $700 on a new tire. Lol.
@@CM-xr9oq I agree, I was Curious for last resort try to get off the road or possibly home results. Instead of ordering and waiting for shipping. Most of us truckers are down to help a guy out but sometimes there's no one. If i catch a pencil sized hole and that product can get me home over packing 4 bags with me all the time would be nice.
BustedKnuckleVideo Thanks for responding , the tires still hold air ,it's like an outer ply of the sidewalls splits from the rim to the tread I have only seen this problem on farm equipment tires . I was Thinking this might be another market for your product . Thanks again.
Is it DOT approved and would you trust this stuff on a tire that's being used on the interstate at 75 to 85 mph and why isn't it used at the local tire shop for repairs ? Great video and very informative.
No it is not DOT Approved. It would throw your tire out of balance. I've driven on the road with these repairs but cannot recommend doing so. Off Road Use Only.
I have a 2" slash in my 35" STT Pros that I need to get repaired. I saw in an earlier comment that it unbalances the tire. My rig doubles as my DD and I rotate all 5 tires to entend the life of them. How difficult would it be to rebalance the tire after the repair?
We have a new kit that sets up faster and is only $89 for the kit!

It works

Almost every tire I have on my UTV is patched with this stuff lol
This is great. I have torn though every brand tire Ive put on my rzr. cant wait to try it!
I've never bought new rzr tires because I've worn them out its always because of cuts in the sidewall. So I just ordered this stuff and hopefully I'll be able to fix the pile of tires I got behind my house

good call!
Yeah, hadn't thought of that, sounds great, are you saying it'll hold together a radiator hose under pressure?
Korben yes it did. It comes down to the preparation you do. If you key the area well and make sure free of contaminants the product will effect a permanent repair.. It room temperature vulcanises to a firm yet flexible rubber material. I have not done any pressure testing but absolutely no reason to think it any weaker than the original item? man we need this bad !!!!! between ATVs , tractor tires, and 4x4 truck will be a heaven sent item.!!!!!!!
Larry Alexander truth!
I have used it in roctanes, crawlers , lots of utv tires. This is a great product!! I love it. definitely worth the money vs. buying a new tire
No doubt!
Didn't know this existed. Brilliant! I live 30 minutes from the hammer trails so having something to fix the big tears is a life saver..
Clint Bong it works great 👍

I have 3 Sedona Ripsaw UTV tires in my barn with ripped sidewalls but excellent tread. This is a game changer.
It should fix them right up!
As always jake great video I'll be using it for my truck TSL swappers , my daughter's quad tires and my 47 CJ2A
Woodchuck perfect 👌

Truth!

We use it in rock bouncers with the tires slinging 80mph with no issue, it wouldn't balance real well onroad I wouldnt think though
I'd think it ok to get ya home if you roll enough internal balancing media.
Hey bud thank you for getting back to me. Take care.
Anytime

Shane Burrell it’ll patch them right up

Awesome!
Well I'll be dammed. Would never guessed that would work!

Gonecheenin yessir it’s magic!
I want to use this on my 70 chevelle slick, it would help being on SSI and racing, slicks aren’t cheep and had some slash one with a buck knife
should work, it will just be out of balance
Looks like great stuff!! I need to get some and show it off around my UTV ridin group!! Got a tire or two and some friends tires I would repair!!
I have repaired a ton of UTV tires with this stuff with zero issues
I’ve been repairing tires for 14 years never seen anything like this 👍👍👍
It is a well kept secret amongst off roaders, until now.
Could definitely save me some money on the RZR tires with the kinds of rocks we run into out here!
Very True
Looks like a great product for agg tires as well.
works great for tractor tires
Thanks Jake! Fix Super swampers!
Make tires hold Air again!
Need some of that swampers looks like a strong fix
It works great on swampers
Cool stuff man! Put on the need list for all my toys. Probably going to be for my Big horns 1st 🌵💥
DoonDood 23 big horns get a lot of holes
Was checking it out for my 35" Trepadors
It worked great on these Treps
Thanks for this video, I will be trying this on my tractor tire. I had a boot put in it and it was an absolute waste of time and money
It will fix a tractor tire no problem
I live up in pa. My sticky swampers have developed cracks between the tread due to the cold temps in the winter. No leaks yet but I wonder if this would be suitable to fill the cracks before they end up getting punctured.
It would be worth a shot. I haven't tried it myself.
This is going to be used, and I’m sure I’ll get some laughs, but on Cooper ST Pros on my bush/work/hunting truck as well as on Firestone skidder tires on skidders at work.
It should work great for that
gotta try some of that stuff on some ~40-44" implement v-treads I have, they have cracks in the side at the end of the V ..
It should work
I would repair my Goodyear MTR's and my Goodyear Duratrac! Very interested in the outcome of the product!
It works great, we all run these repairs on our race tires
I may have to get some for daily driven jeep. If it can handle 850hp buggy then my v6 with 35s will be no problem
As long as you can get it to balance you should be fine
I needed some of that today woulda probably worked better than the patch I did on my 39.5/15. probably gana order some of that incase the patch dont hold.
This stuff flat out works
That is great stuff gonna repair a tire on a massey Ferguson tractor that was ran low pressure and started to uncap at the lugs bad enough it is down to the belts on some and leaking air and water 14.9.24 and i will try it wit one kit
That should work!
whats the shelf life? how long will it store after its first use? thanks!
Is says 1 year but we have used it long after that with great success
God damn! This is going to go into my tool box!
It works great
I've got a big 6 day trip coming up where I plan on hitting 5+ offroad parks in the south and I don't have a spare 43" SX and I don't really have room for one either. I'm thinking this "spare tire kit" will fit the bill :)
Kyle Q I’d carry a spare too just in case
Yeah, I'm going to try and find one.
Takes 24 hours to set... Not a roadside repair.
I'd definitely put good use to this on my buddies and my UTV's.. my question is what's the shelf life of the product? I wouldn't mind spending the money if it will last a couple years
The shelf life is supposed to be two years but we have used it far past that. The containers seal like paint cans so it will last a long time.
I need this stuff for an atv tire that has a 2” gash inbetween two lugs, id have bought a new tire but they’re discontinued so this could be a life saver from having to buy 4 new tires
Cody should work great!
I would be using it on UTV tires and also on my tractor tires and maybe even some of my off-road trailer tires
good call
I definitely need to order some I got 3 RZR tires I’d like to save. Can it be ground down again once repaired? I need to fix a cut next to the bead
Yes it can be ground down like it was never patched
Dang that stuff is cool
Bryce Eisner we use it a lot
This stuff sounds awesome
And it works!
I wonder how this might be on a tubeless 26 down hill Tire got 2 maxxis minion dhr2 tires that hve cuts from Sharp sheet rock and a 1/4 inch branch
Never tried it on a MTB tire but it is worth a shot!
I would like to buy some and try it on my 42” super swampers. Then maybe I can go rock crawling again. The wife won’t let me spend $700 on a new tire. Lol.
stuff works great!
That stuffs awsome I have a pile of tires to fix
Its a $$$ saver!
Can it patch re-5 or ss5 slam specialties air bags?
never tried air bags
It sounds like this stuff isn't very pliable, so I wouldn't use it for that application.
@@CM-xr9oq I agree, I was Curious for last resort try to get off the road or possibly home results. Instead of ordering and waiting for shipping. I've seen it used to repair air bags on logging trucks i drove one truck with two patched bags for six months straight with no problems
Would it work on tractor tires with sidewall splits that aren't all the way through ?? I Guess you would call them surface cracks and splits.
are the tires leaking from those cracks?
BustedKnuckleVideo Thanks for responding , the tires still hold air ,it's like an outer ply of the sidewalls splits from the rim to the tread I have only seen this problem on farm equipment tires . I was Thinking this might be another market for your product . Thanks again.
It's possible, I've never attempted it on something like that
BustedKnuckleVideo Thanks BustedKnuckel
that is a God approved great tire, just great, love that.
It works great!
Probably use it for any tire I have that needs it
it works
I wander if you could retread tires with this stuff
Seems like a bad idea
I got v tread tractor tire with dry rot next to the V tread what it work on that?
if you can cut out the dry rot it might
Can it be stored over winter??
Yes, they come in sealed paint cans to keep them fresh
I wonder if it would work on tractor tires?
It will
Hell yes!
It's Magic!
Super .
Andrzej Sz it’s magic
what brand and model tire was that
Trep Stickie
Is this for bias tires only? I run Pitbull radials thanks.
It is for off road only tires.
Could have used this on my razor tires a time or two!!!
Hoagie Sherlin it is handy
Me, well I'd be getting a kit to toss in my rig/BOV.
Nice!
Can u tell me how much a kit will cost please
The small one is $100, the large is $150 I believe. They are on the website www.bustedknuckleoffroad.com
Is it DOT approved and would you trust this stuff on a tire that's being used on the interstate at 75 to 85 mph and why isn't it used at the local tire shop for repairs ? Great video and very informative.

11.00 16" , 18.4x 38 , 11.00 x15"
huh?
BustedKnuckleVideo farm tire sizes
Sand paddle tires
should work well for them also
I know what im going to buy soon
Well worth the purchase

We don't recommend using it for highway use. Not saying it won't work we just can't encourage that.
Can I use in tipper tires in heavy load
this is for off road use only
Only way to make it stronger is laced nylon in it
Zero failures fixing them this way
Tire Rivet!!!
67dueceman rivet?
BustedKnuckleVideo same idea as a old hot rivet. Sandwich the inside to the outside, really cool idea!
Gotcha
Nitto Mud Grapplers
it should work on those
The 3 holes are buffed down too much,
Nope, repaired it and is still getting used to this day on a rock crawler

Это магия
No shit! I would just fix my daily driver with it, and my kids tires. They seem to hit everything in the road, LOL.
not approved for on road use
@@BustedKnuckleVideo Dam, ok
Not saying that it won't work, It is just not DOT approved
Quit fingering that tire Jake! Lmfao😂
😆😆😆
Be used on whatever tire needed the repair first. Family and friends have all kinds of wheelers
It'll work great!
@berg 3 - What?????
Cameron Miller the give away he asked what you would use this stuff on.
I just might buy this stuff someday even if it's only for my 93 Geo Prizm's street tires lol.
yeah I wouldn't use it on street tires
Tire company must hate the he'll out of you
Oh they will
If It really takes off some tire company will try and buy the company from them
Who's here from the Simpsons?
