I'm genuinely surprised and disheartened to see that there are a few people defending the discriminatory actions of the hotels against the driver. Also, a second comment on top of my first. I know you haven't lived in India for quite some time. I tried to give India a shot between 2018 to 2021, and realized all these things which I never did in my 3 to 4 weeks trip to India every year. Country is highly polarized now, most people do not take criticism well. In 2010, when I went to US for my master's, everyone freely criticized what is wrong in Indian society and system. You might remember in 2000s, movies like Nayak and many others which talked about government, police, society and other problems in country. Now people defend everything wrong in the country. It's like even if things are wrong, people try to justify it. Be it working in government, corruption, social issues or things are inflation.

What I am about to say might trigger people, but I honestly don't care. The issue of driver not allowed to use bathroom is not hotel specific but endemic to our society in India. Most people in our society don't let maids sit on same sofa/bed that we use, have separate utensils for them to eat/drink water. If you bring driver to a marriage, they are not allowed to eat in a marriage and sent food to their car. If its a high profile wedding where lot of drivers come, then sometimes there is some different food and dinning area for drivers. My family occasionally uses a driver since 2005 and he is like a family member. Last year when we had a stop, we took him inside restaurant. At entrance, person said "Sir we have separate section for drivers" but we said he will be with us. In restaurant, all the time waiters gave him dirty looks. We Indians like to make fun of US about black segregation in 1960s but we don't realize our society has such segregations even today, that we have normalized to such an extent that we don't even realize. It's only Indians who move to US/Canada and learn to respect cab/bus drivers by saying "thank you" comes as shock to us. Not everyone in Indian society does it, but majority do.

I watched your Delhi airport video in which you had mentioned how that woman had taken your bag by mistake and how rude and unjust her behavior was. And now this incident in the hotel where they refused the driver to use the washrooms. Please remember one thing - western countries mein reh kar ek Indian sahi roop mein, sahi maayne mein ek civilized insaan banta hai. I have been living in Canada for 40 years. Main aapko ek baat bataataa chaloon. Jab bhi main India visit karta hoon, I get a rude culture shock. Kisi mein tameez nahin hai, compassion towards fellow human beings nahin hai. Roads par chalne ki tameez, driving etiquette nahin hai. Incessant honking, lane system ka satyanash. Ekdum jaanwaron ki tarah behave karte hain. Kisi mein koi ikhlaaq nahin hai. Jagah jagah thookna, har deewar par paan aur gutkha khaake thookna, har ped (tree) ya khanbhe par urinate karna, har wo kaam karnaa jis-se doosron ko taqleef ho. Hamari 7000~8000 years ki civilization hai lekin India ke logon ko dekh ke ek baat realize hoti hai ki ye hamaara final product hai? Busses mein pregnant women ko baithne ki jagah nahin dete, kisike liye lift ka darwaaza open nahin rakhte. Sab ke sab ekdum dangar. I have worked closely with new Indian students and new immigrants here in Canada. Unke behaviour dekh ke mujhe sharm aati hai. Most of them are Punjabis and north Indians. All of them lack civic sense, etiquettes, sense of personal space and manners and almost all of them (especially Punjabis and Sikhs) have intense body odour. India aur Dubai mein to sab chal jaata hai lekin yahaan nahin chalta. Aapko Mississauga ya Brampton areas ke supermarkets mein, public transit (busses ya trains) mein ya aur kisi bhi public areas mein (parks, libraries etc) zor zor se baat karte hue, apna crotch violently khujaate hue, kisi ladki ko (especially White Canadian) oopar se neeche tak ghoorte hue desi students ya immigrants dikh jaayenge. Body odour to itnaa zyada ki jaise ghar se sarson ke tel mein nahaa ke aaye hon. These are some of the very common characteristics of new desis here in Canada. Aise log India ka naam badnaam to karte hi hain, aapke aur mere jaise logon ko sharminda aur rusvaa bhi karte hain. Kabhi kabhi to main sochtaa hoon ki Canadian Immigration Authorities ne visa dene se pehle har Indian ka social etiquettes test or civic sense ka test lena chahiye, aur ye bhi shart rakhni chahiye ki Canada pahonchte hi baalon mein and body pe sarson ka tel laganaa band karnaa hoga. You seem to have a large fan base in India. Could you please create a video about the Dos and Don'ts for the potential students and immigrants to Canada? In your video, could you please stress upon the topics of how imporatnt it is to say "Sorry", "Excuse me", "Please" and "Thank You" or holding the door open for someone behind you, not sneezing loudly in supermarkets, not applying Sarson Ka Tel on their bodies if they are going to their schools or offices and not peering into your fellow passenger's phone if they are texting someone etc? Thank you so very much!
Shame on you for defending the hotel for such discrimination and promoting sick mindset. Your argument for us giving the driver room in the same hotel is flawed. There is difference in letting someone use a washroom for basic human need and giving someone an agreed upon compensation for their duties and nightly stay in a guest house. As I said if the driver told me Hotel denied them washroom I would have happily offered my room. And if he didn’t find a guest house I would offer him another room in the hotel.
"Kya driver insaan nahi hai"? Ask this question to urself. I have never seen the driver eat in any restaurant with you. Why, is he not insaan? In india, there is differentiation in class n creed, but u hav stayed abroad for so many years, y haven't u changed ur mindset. Ur mindset is also same, driver cant sit on d same table as u or he cant stay in d same hotel as u, right? Y didnt u book a room for him in same hotel or a cheaper hotel. D poor driver must be sleeping in his car every night coz he cant afford a hotel or guestroom. He has a family to feed, He must hav told u he is staying in a guestroom, but go check the car at night, he will be sleeping in it. This is the plight of poor people in India....pehle apni soch badlo, phir duniya badlenge.....I personally like u a lot n I am not preaching u or anything, but its the pot calling the kettle black....d hotel staff are bound by rules, they r just doing what the rules of the hotel are, but u r not bound by any rules. Good luck.
Thanks for defending the hotel. I made my case in other comments not going to repeat the same thing here and try to defend myself. You are right. Only going to show good things about hotels from now on in the vlog. I thought people were mature enough to see a honest perspective.
@@RavishVlogs Ara yaar, u r getting angry ...when u hav calmed down, just read my msg again. my point was that its just not hotel discriminating, but thats how Indians in India are...u spoke abt discrimination ...r u also not guilty of that...y is tht u r eating in a fancy hotel, but ur driver is not....Ravish, bring tht change n maybe people mindset will change after they see u.....anyways chal chod, enjoy ur trip n smile :)

Thank you so very much!
aise hotel me jana hi nahi chahiye

Hello
Hello
India cast system is still there
Drivers are coming from low cast do they are allowed same service as you are how sad.
deviram is good
Sab jo b bdia tha hotel ka behaviour ke aage sab kharab 👎👎👎 Humanity nahi hai matlab
Why abusing animals bhawan nei doh per diye or or insan nei gadi banai h
All over India no buddy use wash room for any driver sir this is not Canada 🍁 lol 😂
That is sad
The Indians hate the British but love behaving like the British did 100s of years ago with the Indians. No colour people only white people 😂😂😂
You should book his room with you why he has to go to another location. You did discrimination too,
Shame on you for defending the hotel for such discrimination and promoting sick mindset.
