Just come across your channel you really no alot about mechanics. I follow about 10 other mechanic channels on UA-cam Would you get a fault code if one or more of the glow plugs are bad ? What are the common issues when a glow plug goes bad ? Can you check them without removing from head ? Iv heard that are really tricky to change if you brake one in the bore it can be a night mare to get out and theres a good chance thay can brake when changing them. Iv got a astra Mk5 120.000 mile I'm thinking that have never been changed on it .

An amperage clamp is much easier to test 3 out of 5 where dead in my d3. If itdoes not draw current its dead.

simon my d5 glow plugs all registered 0.6 ohms, could a battery test throw up a dodgy plug?
