- Former member of Newboys, Bryan Olesen is the founder and lead singer of Christian pop/rock band VOTA. Bryan also serves as a worship leader at his home church in Lincoln, Nebraska. For more than a year now, the band has been working to help curb human trafficking between Nepal and India. In partnership with Tiny Hands International and Taylor University, VOTA's "Love Found Me" campaign is seeking to set up monitoring stations on the border of Nepal and India. The stations will help prevent an estimated 3000 girls from being trafficked between the countries. Later this year, VOTA will be traveling to Nepal to visit one of the border monitoring stations.
I hope this wonderful man wins "The Voice". Thankyou Bryan for bringing this issue to light and doing something very real to help prevent these horrific crimes.
