I can id a Baron flying overhead just by the sound of its engines. Remember flying around the Gascoyne region of Western Australia in 70s with the RFDS. Love the Baron

Absolutely loved my 27 years in an BE-55. Nothing like the sound of those two Continentals. I can recognize the sound of a Baron flying overhead without having to look up and confirm, yep that's a Baron. Thanks for some good memories! Best of luck on your pro pilot journey!

I flew a B55 for a couple of years until my employer moved me up into a kingair 90. I miss the Baron.
