There was also a free charge at the Hotel. When planning a trip and you also plan to stay overnight in a hotel, it great to stay where they offer FREE EV CHARGING for paying customers.

so with an electric car how long does it take to charge up your car?.

It can take anywhere from lets say 10 mins to 30 mins. All depends on how drained the battery is and how much charge you need to reach the next destination. Tesla automatically tells you when to charge, where to charge and how much charge to put in. Amazing system really. Thanks for watching.

Agree with GlenAndRhonda - it depends on how much you need, basically. No different from a gas car. Plus (as a non-Tesla EV owner) when you are charging a non-Tesla, you have to find the fastest (highest-power) charger your car can accept. Tesla superchargers are all at least 150 kWh (the original ones) and the newest ones are all 350 kWh. Our Kia EV6 can charge at 240 kWh when plugged into a 350 kWh charger which will fill from 10-80% in under 20 minutes. However, for non-Teslas there are lots of 150, 100 and even 50 kWh chargers out there that technically qualify as "fast charging." Sometimes that's the only option, and that's when you just walk into the restaurant and sit down for a meal instead of getting take-away! 😉 There's tons of fast chargers under construction across the country and it's basically not a concern now and will only keep getting better.

the fact you even have make this video....says coal powered cars are 100% trash. and the damage they do to the environment, near AND long term, is immeasurable.

Toyota cant even make reliable ICE motors anymore. Regardless, who cares about the environment, I just want a car that works. I have a 2019 Model 3 SR+ that has 120,000 miles on it that has its original set of brake pads. It has only had tires put on it. Just picked up a second Tesla, 2025 Model 3 AWD LR. Its fast. Quiet. Has plenty of range. Best part is that my daily commute requires me to never go to a gas station again. I just come home and charge it when needed. You are deranged if you think these are bad cars. EVs are a part of our future whether you like it or not. Coal plants are shutting down left and right for natural gas which is better in every single way possible. Calling them coal powered and not saying it as irony shows your ignorance and lack of knowledge of how the world around us truly operates. Anyways, if you ever want to come visit the deep south and try some amazing food and go for a ride in a Tesla to have your mind instantly changed, come visit any time.

@@garretts228 well said - we live in British Columbia where 95% of electricity is produced from hydro dams and the other 5% from wind and geothermal. Quite a clean source of energy eh.
