- Credit Card Fraud is increasing with increasing use of digital money especially after demonetization. The fraudsters are findings new ways and the credit card holder is caught unaware.
It is important to note that user cannot do anything in case bank or its employee is involved i.e. credit card details leaked from bank's end. At the same time if the user is at fault then he has to bear the financial loss.
This video discusses 11 smart tips to avoid and protect Yourself from credit card fraud. You should be extra cautious and careful to decide where to use and where not to use the credit card. If you have slight doubt of potential credit card fraud, you can immediately block your card and apply for the new one.
Lastly, banks or RBI will never call a user and ask for personal details like credit card no etc. You should not reveal your card details to anyone.

सर मेरा आपसे एक सवाल है के हमने किसीको फोनपर कार्ड का पुरा नंबर, एक्सपायरी डेट दिया मगर CVV, OTP, PIN नंबर और बाकीका कोई भी डिटेल्स नही दिया तो क्या फिर भी वो अपना कार्ड किसीं व्यवहार के लिये इस्तेमाल कर सकता है क्या ? अगर करता भी है तो OTP तो अपने मोबाईल पर आता है ना ? अगर इंटरनॅशनल के लिये वो इस्तेमाल करता है तो OTP तो आता नही है मगर, उसके लिये ( For International Transactions ) CVV तो जरुरी होता है ना ? क्या CVV के बिना भी अपना कार्ड कोई इस्तेमाल कर सकता है क्या ? अगर हम डोमेस्टीक और इंटरनॅशनल दोनो फिचर्स ऍप के जरिये ब्लॉक कर देते है तब भी हमारा कार्ड इस्तेमाल हो सकता है क्या ?

One simple technique to avoid URL frauds.
Say u have an account with icici. But the payment URL directs you to lcici(note the first letter is L)
In this case always enter the wrong password. If the site accepts the password this means the site has just captured ur username and password information and it is not authentic. Later this information will be used in frauds.
This simple technique can help u identify if the site is authentic or not, in case ur not sure about the bank URL

I own a scb Manhattan cc and was twice a victim of international fraud. I use ccs for 7 years now but only scb card becomes victim of such frauds. Bank gave me the credit but I am very much afraid about these frauds. Can bank employees share cc details? Should I cancel this cc?
