Most regret getting the 4500$ 21’ and technically you get the 19” wheels for free when you buy new. Think about it, do you get the 19’ wheels also when you buy the 21” wheels? Buy the 19’ and get a nice set of aftermarket wheels.
I think getting the 21's is the way to go. Another reason is that Tesla has tested this wheel and tire combo at 200 mph and might someday open the car up to 200 mph. They might deny that capability to owners with other wheels and tires including aftermarket. I have ordered a 2023 S Plaid. Any builds after 1/11 come with red brake calipers. They are also upgraded in some way, but details are forthcoming. If the brakes are true upgrades, like 6 piston, then getting a new 2023 might be worth it.
This video didn't age well. Look on eBay at sold 2022 Plaid on 2-16-2023. A Plaid like this one, with the 21" wheels, just sold for under $87K. I heard the final price was $83K. Yikes! If he's thinking these are over $100K, he's smoking to reefer!

Almost every thing you said is opinion. Buy new. Many 2022 including the one your driving no swivel screen, 8gb, and updated brakes coming on the 2023 with finally a round steering wheel. The 21 in rims are a big problem. Many premature tire wear issues.
Sorry guy, but 2021-2022 model s plaid is retailing for 98,000 around 10k miles, and in 94000 for 15k miles. Higher than that you are in the high 88000. You aren't getting anything back on those 21 wheels, no one likes them.

And at $250K starting price it can stay in development. 💯💯

Sorry but that hasn’t been my experience I can’t sell plaids without 21 inch wheels! I’m selling 21 model S plaid 85-90 and selling 22 for 105
