Just what I needed... Except you didn't add the greasing under the cover ..I had to redo mine as yuck 🤢 ... Going to change oil sooner to hopefully get more of this gray soup out as boy was it nasty
Perfect except the bottom drain plug on mine was covered in dirt and difficult to undo. Any suggestions on how to keep it clean? I wondered if a smear of grease might keep the dirt out.

Thanks for your feedback! We wouldn't recommend using grease, as it could cause more dirt to stick. Instead, you could try covering the drain plug with tape, fashioning a small plug, or carefully removing the dirt with a pointed tool and a bit of water.

Just a comment, when filling the gear box I found it best to squeeze in 10 ml then wait an hour before doing the next ten mls. I live in Canada but Rose bikes in germany seemed to be the easiest place to buy the kit.
@@johnwhelan2663 Thanks for your input! If your method works for you, it's totally fine. However, the best approach is to press the oil in all at once with a bit of force. For those in NA, you can also order the oil kit from our official service partner, VPL Bikes: vpl.bike
@@PinionChannel neither vpl.bike nor Pirority currently have them in stock and certainly with the cost of international shipping to Canada, remember Canada is not the USA, Rose Bikes is certainly cheaper than Pirority and vpl.bike doesn't even appear to ship to a Canadian address.
Könnten Sie Beispiele von harzfreiem, haftfähigem EP-Schmierfett geben ? Haben Sie eine Empfehlung ?
Generell sind div. Lagerfette geeignet. Hier ein paar Beispiele:
Dynamic Galli Grease Pro Kugellagerfett
Finish Line Teflon® Fett
Was nicht geeignet ist sind Sprühöle und -fette wie WD40 oder auch Montagepasten,, Kuppferpasten etc.

In general, div. bearing greases are suitable. Here are a few examples:

Finish Line Teflon® Grease
What is not suitable are spray oils and greases such as WD40 or also assembly pastes, coupling pastes, etc.
Muss der Ölwechsel vom Fachhändler durchgeführt werden oder bleibt die Garantie auch bei einem selbst durchgeführten Ölwechsel bestehen?

Ja das kannst du selber durchführen, bitte im Garantiefall einfach den Kaufbeleg des originalen Pinion Öl-Kits beilegen, dass dient als Nachweis. Das Öl-Kit bekommst du bei deinem Händler oder in vielen Onlineshops für Fahrradzubehör.
Müßen die Öl-schrauben auch eingeklebt werden wie beim p1.18 oder geht das beim c12 ohne
Die Ölablasschraube muss generell nicht eingeklebt werden. Nur bei einer ganz kleinen Anzahl der aller ersten Getriebe aus 2012 ist dies nötig. Die einzuklebenden Schraube erkennt man an der schwarzen Färbung, dem Feingewinde und an der flachen Spitze im Gegensatz zur Aktuellen, die eine Kegelförmige Spitze hat, silbrig ist und ein normales Gewinde besitzt.

Bei mir befindet sich die Ölablaßschraube nicht an der angegebenen Stelle - ich vermute, dass es die Innensechskantschraube unterhalb der Tretwellenachse ist.

Nein, ich hbe ein C1.12 und die Ablaßschraube befindet sich nicht an der Seite - wie im Video - sondern unten, ungefähr unterhalb der Tretwellenachse.
@@otmarbethmann9175 Die Ablaßschraube ist am Getriebe immer an der selben Stelle positioniert. Jedoch kann der Fahrradhersteller das Getriebe mit jedem beliebigen Winkel in seinem Rahmen integrieren. Daher kann die Position je nach Fahrradrahmen variieren. Wenn du dir nicht sicher bist, solltest du dich bei deinem Fachhändler oder Fahrradhersteller melden.

I would glue with silicon the cover cup, but the contact surface with the gearbox i would grease it to not stick the silicone glue , also i would glue the cable ends into the body of the gearbox
