Brian O' Flionn (no "y" in my Irish alphabet!), you are fast becoming one of my YT favourites...I love the humour, the brash no holds barred zero BS approach to sharing very useful info...keep up the good work "mo chara"... A
Haha! Thanks for watching Antomac. My first name is actually Patrick! I go by my middle name Bryan.... You are too kind and you made me smile this morning. Thank you so much! :)
Thanks Scratch! I was reading about that method on the interwebs, and thought it looked like a great idea. I've tried it on a couple of items so far, and seems to work like a charm. Just don't forget to add that 1/8'' set up block. I've heard that can ruin your projects.... (oh wait, that was me who did that once and ruined a project).
For the black marks I use dollar store wax paper and lay it over the clamps. I use wax paper all kinds of ways and I compared price per foot with the grocery store and the dollar store is cheaper. I often use my table saw and fence for gluing 90 degrees and just put wax paper over the saw table.
Great tips. Can't you cut a slice in the blue tape with a razor knife so the table saw blade with the riving knife can go up without tearing the tape? That should allow you to keep the riving knife on.
On the blue tape Zero Clearance set up, don't remove the riving knife, just cut out the blue tape over it. Wow man, either your shop is really cold or you have really bad breath. Get a heater.
Great comment Barry, thanks for sharing! And the answer is, yes I do have bad breaths, my shop is very cold, and I do have a heater! Just need to get the thing insulated! 😂. Thanks for the comment, and thanks for watching!
This is like the first physics class you should reflect upon as you become an engineer. The pitch of his voice is unbearable, however, he is a true master.
Well unfortunately I find those really hard to find in stores close to me, there is also a price savings with the black pipe. However either would work. I have not used the galvanized pipe so not sure if it would leave the same black marks or not, as I think it is a chemical reaction that is causing the marks.
I’m not sure why my reply to a comment on here keeps on being erased or blocked so I will try it here. It is not that the jokes are not appreciated. It is the sexual frat boy jokes that are the issue. I watch woodworking videos with my 10 year old daughter because she enjoys that time with me as well as being in the shop. I do not expect to get jokes like that and do not want to have to explain what a sausage party is or what a circle jerk is. So I can not watch your videos for that reason and that is a shame because you do provide some good information.
Damn dude I can see your breath it is that freakin cool in your shop!! I live in south Texas and that is great when you want to go to the beach and get fishing, But total hell when you want to work in your shop! My shop is one of those tuff shed barns and it is hot as hell! Yup, all year long! Our winter lasts for about a week in early February yup that's it one week and yes our Governor is an idiot and people die. It only happens about every 20 or so years though. Other than that we are lucky to get 80 degrees, most of the year it hits 3 digits! We go to hell to cool off. 90 degree winters is our norm. But pipe clamps are not cheap here either if you get the cheap parts from Harbor Freight then the black pipe is around 30 bucks so that comes out to about 40 dollars for 8 footers or 20 for the 4 footers.
Awesome! Thank you so much for sharing that information from Harbor Freight! And I know it is cold as F@#K! Problem is in Indiana it gets equally hot as F@#K too! :) Fall and spring are amazing. I feel your pain! :)
Milescraft circle jig. You’re welcome. Great vlog.
Oh, man don’t tell me about another milescraft jig, you know I’ll be looking that up this afternoon! Thanks as always for watching Paul!
I like the zero clearance tip using the painters tape. That was a great tip!
Thanks so much Hector! Thanks for watching!
I really like the dado jig 👍
Glad you liked it Bad Dog, and thanks for watching!
Thank you. Got some new ideas, reaffirmed old ones, and created thoughts of possible new ones.
Thanks so much! Glad you liked it and I appreciate you watching!

The dado gauge is a great idea! Thanks

I’ll definitely try the dado jig. That’s awesome.
It’s pretty simple to use! Glad you liked it Griffin Woodworks!
Enjoyed this video,,subscribed !!
Thanks so much Pinta! So happy you liked it and thank you so much for subscribing! :)
Great tips
Thanks so much Jim! I appreciate you watching!
You need to put a couple of rare earth magnets into your setup 4 X 4 to attach it to the saw.
Haha! Circle Jerks... A great band. That's what you were talking about, right? Right?
Haha! You guessed it! :) Thanks for watching Ted!
Duct tape on sand paper is the most useful hack I have seeing.
Haha! Glad it helped. I learned that when I was trying to sand a bunch of spindles! Thanks for watching! :)
WOO HOO! I'm the first comment! (I'm easily amused.) Have a great day, keep warm, and keep the videos comin'!
Haha! You are too funny! Thanks so much for watching Scotty! :)
Nice ideas! Thanks for sharing.
Glad you liked them Dave! and thanks for watching! :)
Thanks for the tips. The black marks from the pipe clamps can be avoided by using packing tape on the pipe. Makes clean up a breeze too.
Excellent point. I've done that a few times, but I always seem to forget until it is too late! :) But that is a great tip! Thanks for watching Allen!

Another great video. Audio is much better on this one!
Thanks so much tektrixter! and thanks for watching! :)
Jokes are back 👏there were a few missed opportunities, but well done!
I don’t think everyone appreciates the humor, but I like to spinkle in a bit here and there! Thanks for watching Craig!
You can extend that cross cut by lifting the piece toward the blade, not for the feint of heart but it is an old timer trick. Be careful.
Oh yes! I've done that a few times myself. Makes me a little nervous each time I do it! Thanks for sharing The Meat! :)
Great tips. Can't you cut a slice in the blue tape with a razor knife so the table saw blade with the riving knife can go up without tearing the tape? That should allow you to keep the riving knife on.
I actually thought of that too. I bet you could if you added enough blue tape! Thanks for sharing and thanks for watching Larry!
hey brian you can also use old bike intertube and cut to length y7ou can get old tubes at a bike shop for $.00
Excellen Mike! What a fantastic money saving idea! :)
Cut 3-pvc pipes 1 1/2 inches long protects and you can use clamps much small when needed.
Great Idea Jesse! I never thought of cutting them that small. I had envisioned maybe a foot long! Thanks for the tip and thanks for watching!
You could use both ends of the block and get twice as many or even better use half of each side for the rabbits and have a bunch of measurements
Great idea Greg, thanks for the tip and thanks for watching!
As always, informative and entertaining. I saw at least 3 tips that I can use. Thanks
Thanks so much Jerry! I really appreciate that! Thanks for watching as always Jerry!

Don’t lose your yard stick. They aren’t making them any longer!
Haha! Love it... I need to go to a fair and pick up some more! :)

Haha! Bueller…… Bueller…. Thanks for watching RP
That piece of sandpaper did nothing to you.
He was a little "rough" around the edges, so I had to set things straight! Thanks for watching Brian!
That blue tape is not double-sided tape. Good thing it's not!
Oh man, that would be a disaster wouldn't it! Thanks for watching Testing Person! :)
Why don't you buy 3/4 galvanized pipe instead of 3/4 black gas pipe
Well unfortunately I find those really hard to find in stores close to me, there is also a price savings with the black pipe. However either would work. I have not used the galvanized pipe so not sure if it would leave the same black marks or not, as I think it is a chemical reaction that is causing the marks.
I’ve seen tips to use paste wax on the pipes before glue ups. I think it’s more for glue drips, but would expect it’s also for staining.
Oh! Excellent, I’ve never tried that! Great idea! Thank you so much for the great tip!
