Welcome all new viewers! Congrats on getting your Mukkpet ebike for less than $300! That is an absolutely bonkers price and was not the case all those months ago when this review video was posted. For less than $300, yeah this is absolutely worth it. Heck, any ebike at that crazy price will be worth it. So for you new lucky viewers, yes I do recommend this ebike at that low low price. Otherwise, my opinion stands.
I got it too. For $294 after taxes, I don't care about the drawbacks noted in this vdieo. I won't come across a 25mph eBike for ~$300 again unless all these weird brands are racing down to be the cheapest just like what happened to the hoverboards.

The lower end ebikes of 700 or less is best for beginners who want to test out the e bike waters as with myself 3 years ago of my first ebike out of the 5 later on I bought and build. It is useful of the rice range of experimenting , exploring features of settings and so on. My latest E bike is a Fat Tire of a 1200$ buy as one of the mre affordable higher watt e bikes and is a step up of the more advanced components and parts and a realistic view on a grand e bike of having higher level of components of the brakes systems, disc rotors , chain and so on. The brake housing is a thicker type of chassis and the handle brakes are those cool knob adjusters and I have never seen these higher grade handle brakes of my novice use of e bikes or regular bikes. As back to the 700 range of ebikes, they perfect of being a beginner of experimenting the hobby..
Cool video and drone shots. Off road mountain biking aside, would this be a decent bike for city commuting? It's a good 2 mile walk from my job, to the nearest bus stop and right now i honestly can't afford a $1,500 ebike. So this is just about where I'm at. Btw, my bikes of choice would be the ecotric Bison, or the Philodo H8.
Thanks! And yeah I honestly would recommend it for city commuting. Plenty of range, barely have to pedal, fairly comfy ride due to the fat tires, has integrated lights for safety.
I have this bike. Over 2 month riding test. My top speed full pedal PAS 5 is 38mph. Throttle only 23mph. I am 5' 11" 240 lbs. I did change some of the parameters. They are little stiff on bumpy roads but for a budget bike. Not sure if the reviewer knew you could change parameters. I get about 20 to 35 miles using throttle mostly. A blend at PAS 3 and medium pedaling about 42 miles. Only a budget for under 30miles ride. i call it a winer

Hello, great review. I just ordered this e-bike off of amazon and when i saw it was on sale for less than 300 dollars and free shipping, i thought i was seeing things. I later came to a conclusion that is it on sale for the holidays, so being a 13 year old who only does off-roading and was looking for a cheap, good quality e-bike for my long rides, i figured this is a perfect match. Also, when i saw the amount of views i was very surprised. Your channel is defiantly blowing up soon. Keep doing what you're doing man.
the speed sensor is in the hub motor and if you disconnect it the controller will give you an error and the bike wont go. The only thing you can do is get an aftermarket controller that supports sensor less, hall sensor less. You only hook up the 3 phase motor wires. The other 5 or 6 wires that are skinny you don't hook up. But I must warn you, going above 20mph is against the law. You are entire accountable for any fines or jail time you may get from doing the modification. cya
I've had mine for 3 years now and after hundreds of dollars in upgrades because of brake downs and crashing into a car, I managed to get mine to go 28mph on throttle only. ive got 2 20ah batteries and new controller, new display and down hill racing forks because of that car that pulled out in front of me. there's one last thing i wanna do and then i cant upgrade no more. I been kinda waiting for it to brake down so I have the excuse of upgrading it and that the brakes. Hydraulic 4 piston brakes. but yeah this thing was a dog of a bike when I first bought it. I wanted to send it back for a return but I had to pay for the shipping if I wanted to return it. I wasn't happy about that so I would harass mukkpet by email practically every day for a whole month with " the bike was advertised to do 28mph in the description. It only does 22mph. what you guys do? Send me the 5oo watt by mistake instead. the 500 watt says in the description it can go 22mph..." They finally got tired of me emailing them and the said "would you accept a $100 refund for our mistake as an apology?" You better believe I will. So I emailed them back with a simple "yes I will accept". I'm serious. I can't make this up. anyways I received $100 the next day credited to my credit card. And today I actually love my bike. it faster than all the others. I have dual batteries and no longer suffer from range anxiety. I mean it's a whole different bike today from when I first got it. Welp, I've said enough. take care.
I buy them cheaper ones of the gear motors and modify the ebikes wth a 2nd 2000 watt gearless motor to use as a turbo booster and that is the best way to have a great ebike of a practical and performance which out do the 2000$ ebikes overall with exception to the components and parts the higher end ebikes do use. This set up is my preferred preference of what I need for e bike overall of being and exceeding its practical use. I make all my ebikes a Dual Turbo Booster type.
So...if we put this in perspective, this bike might suck for you younger guys. But me, my ebike is down and I'm sporting a Jeep Wrangler mechanical bike. ( you remember right) ? Let's just say a little suffering accompanies every ride. So, this 700 dollar bike looks just peachy to me.
