That's awesome :) I love stories like that. I remember my very first pet (outside of the taming quests) which was echeyakee, named Silverfang. Now I know what you're thinking, you get that at 16 in the Barrens... yep. I didn't understand taming, so I didn't tame a pet until my friend came over one day after school. Still have him today! I started playing in 2007.
Lol! The Ghost Saber! I've had mine since way back in Vanilla. That was the first "special" pet I had to have. FYI it will randomly die a few minutes after you tame it giving you heart failure. I'll never forget how freaked out I was after ages of clicking those figures.

I actually have a few of them. Netherbeak, the red fox, Kuykendall, Gasparilla, and the sapphire hive drone. I think I'm going to go find myself a vibrant butterfly for fun
Getting the Ghostsaber as a Horde player back in Vanilla was a really fun, and very unique tame to get. I was happy to see it in your video. Crusty needs the Crab Shank. If you haven't, I suggest trying for a Panthera tame.
A Panthera are on my list for the next video actually! I've got a pool that I pull pets from and that's one of the "headliners" so to speak. I should have another pet tame video out in a couple weeks, they just take awhile to put together and I've got a million other things going on atm XD Thank you for watching! My friend Coleten and I had went and got the Ghostsaber on Season of Discovery, so I made sure and added it to my list in retail.
To unlock the book, you need to do the Legion Order Hall campaign and also the Legionfall campaign. Basically everything up to Breaching the Tomb, which gives you the Huntmaster mount after a small scenario.

The ghost sabre was my first "rare" pet. I was rocking him as a level 21 hunter back in vanilla. I still have him on my nelf hunter.

I'm still trying to unlock feathermane, but I can't unlock the book 😂
