I've been playing with variations of spreadsheets for months trying to get halfway to what you have. WOW! And thanks for making it available. And giving a good base for QB.

Hey Ed! Glad you found this useful! FYI - We'll shortly start recording a course on estimating/ QBO for Renovations. Any feedback/ suggestions for the course would be greatly appreciated!

This is brilliant! A lot of brain power and time went into that workbook. Thank you for sharing it with us.

If I started with the simple products/ services list and wanted to change and go to the more complex detailed products/ services list, how would you go about doing that?

Hey Austin, thanks for watching! I think the best approach to “making the switch” would be to define a definitive “line in the sand” on projects using the old list and the new list. As you convert over to your new list, you would go through whatever catalogue you have built and mail each line to the new list of products/ services. It will be a bit tedious as you make the switch…but eventually, as you estimate/ perform more projects…the new list will become the norm.
