Wonderful flip through, Natasha! I(I always enjoy the way you introduce all of the decks that you feature.) 🥰
In this case, I can't help but comment how strange it is that the deck is dedicated to "Nix", which means nothingness, refusal and denial. Especially since 'nix' itself doesn't exist (as there is 'no thing' that is without substance - even an 'empty cup' is filled with air, and several other particles besides).
It strikes me as even more peculiar since there is a Greek Goddess by the name of "Nox", which is in reference to 'the Conscious Sacred Void', meaning 'Mystery' (or what in modern terms may be called, "The [Conscious] Universe". Huh. 🤔

Those cards are great for begginers. They're easy to understand, the texts in the guide book are short and direct, and it's cheap! I have received them last week and I love them! That have been said, it is a basic deck, so I don't know if I'll use them in the long run but for now, I love it! (Yes, we follow each other on that Colette Baron-Reid bandwagon!) ;P

I read this book series when I was a teenager in middle school. I loved it so much, but didn't get into tarot/oracle until January of this year. I just now found out about this deck's existence and ordered it immediately, and then saw you did a video on it (somehow I missed this when I went through and watched almost all your videos before lmao). Anyway, thanks for doing this! I'm excited for mine to get here!

Thanks for the review! I work with Nyx as a deity but never read the books. Had NO idea this was a Colette deck though, went up and ordered it.
Thank you so much for this review :) a few days ago i was looking for an Oracle deck for my sister, she likes them kind of "dark" and i went across this one, but i saw a review and it didnt connect with me.. those sharp edges, the boarders and the blue for the words, just sent me off my way to a different one. And its a "shame" because as you said, the art work is beautiful . BUT, your review made me re-think about them... lol they are still on my wish list.. who knows :)

I just got these cards for Christmas (I dont celebrate Christmas but my family does so I just use this day to have some quality time with them) and I absolutely love them. Im a big hon fan and a hellenic wiccan with a strong connection to Nyx. 🌙
This deck is my first one and Im in love! The cards are so pretty and I knew they are perfect for me when I first touched them.
I’m in love with this deck. Especially Card Number 47 Individuality (Zoey). Dang she’s super attractive.
beaufiful deck here. the blue distracts me but lovely pictures and looks like good card stock. :) Is it hard to shuffle with pointy tips? Keeping my eyes on this. thanks for sharing!
Honestly the pointy tips do make it hard to hand shuffle but it's not a deterrent. Overall, I am pleased with it.
I rounded these corners and they're much better that way. These pair well with a deck called Chronicles of Destiny.

This deck has been on my wishlist ever since I started to read cards...I don't know why I have never pushed the envelope and bought it...the artwork and messages are great...maybe something about the backing and borders turns me off...
The borders and the pointed corners kill me, but other than that, it's a very accurate ans to the point deck.

I started collecting and reading the book series this oracle is based on back in high school but I never ended up getting all the books in the collection and finishing the series. I heard about this deck when it came out back in 2012 but I wasn't interested in tarot/oracle yet. But I don't think I'd add this to my collection, I don't vibe with it. The art is nice though and it matches the books well and the guidebook seems really good from the reading you did.
I'm going to have to read the books.

Tarot , spirit animal oracle and this one and what else?
So there is typically 2 types: tarot and oracle. Tarot has a specific structure and oracle is very free and up to the author. They can both have different themes though, such as spirit animal, fairy, dark, even based on book series like this one. I hope that helps ❤️
I would trim the edges on the deck make them round.
