Can you do a podcast on finances for women your age? Rent, cars and high cost items, how you budget?

I resonate a lot with what Janet said about "to be better at flirting". I went through the hardest breakup this year in my mid-thirties. During one session with my therapist, she pointed out that although it is important to be compatible with a partner, seeking out fun together is also vital in a happy long-lasting relationship. I can see why Janet wants to focus on "flirting" in 2024 because it does play an important role in dating.

“Life is short, so if you mess up, whatever”
My new motto for 2024, thanks Janet!

This episode really resonates with me. I feel like the transition to this year has prompted a lot of reflection. I’m glad I’m not the only one ❤.

Coming over from spotify. Flirting is weird. People around me tell me I flirt a lot, I think I'm just friendly. And my partner tells me I never clock when someone is flirting with me. I think I chit chat with everyone and that came from my time in front facing food service/retail. Maybe practice just friendly conversation with everyone, people in line with you, baristas, etc. Friendly conversation that puts a smile on someone's face is always nice whether it's flirting or not. 😊

All of us parents feel this way! We feel guilty when we do things just for ourselves but also want to be ourselves at times! But we all know our kids will always be our first priority 💯🙏🏻

    Mel’s themes:
    1) A smooth sea never made a skilled sailor
    2) A girl who’s gonna do big things cannot let small things get to her
    3) if not now, then when?
    4) if you weren’t ready, you wouldn’t have the opportunity
    5) Always be kinder than you feel
    6) Your direction is more important than your speed
    7) Protect your peace
    8) if it’s out of your hands it deserves freedom from your mind too
    9) go where you feel the most alive
    10) don’t spend another year doing the same sh*t

Love to join Janet on her journey to learn about financial investment. There are many Asian content creators on real estate investment. That’s also my 2024 goal to learn more about real estate investment.
