This was only my third sewing project but Jess made it so easy to follow along that I now have a completed large project bag! I'm so happy with it! Can't wait to sew some more projects. This is my favorite how to channel I've found in my many crafting years!
I have a knitting and crochet channel and this bag would be perfect for knitter or crocheter. I love your channel. I have made several of your projects. Thanks Marie 💕😊💕
Hi Jess! I absolutely love your tutorials. Before I buy a pattern I check to see if you have a tutorial first. I as well as others, im sure, would love it if you made tutorial on Kandoupatterns new Pebble mini sling bag. It looks so cute and I want to make it but I know your tutorial would make my bag 100% better 🦋🦀💜
Oh my gosh only watched the intro so far but already know I am going to love this pattern and your panelling and coloured tag gives me such R2D2 vibes ❤️
I will have to make some for sure been going to hospital a lot for my son and I love lots of pockets hopefully he stays out of hospital longer so I can make one before he has his tumor removed thank for all your videos ❤
Another great project video. I was so happy you showed using the smaller rivet press. I'm extremely limited on space but have wanted to use rivets and this might be my stepping stone to using rivets. Thank you for all your great videos!
How cute would this be with some matching pjs in your kiddos favorite characters? We always give our kids pjs on Christmas Eve and this will be a perfect addition that they could use later.
I literally just yesterday turned this pattern into a drawstring backpack!! I just added d-rings to the sides about 2 inches from the bottom, cut my cording to 70" and threaded it through. LOVE all your pattern choices Jess!
I love your projects a lot!! But may I suggest that when you upload your videos, to have the project that you are featuring with a less busy background. Makes it easier to see for us on our end. Thanks for considering. Have a beautiful day! Cheers!
Ooo! Backpack modification idea: Stitch straps into the bottom outer shell with that sliding large clip at the end to connect to a single d ring top center of the shell, in the seam of the back outer panel and the draw string channel, which could also be modified into a single channel that pulls to the center front. 1. stitch a d ring center back at the top, then stitch the webbing into the bottom seam of the outer fabric. 2. Using the same technique of the cross body strap you made, but instead of the stationary hook, stitch that end of the webbing into the bottom seam. So the 2 straps would come from the bottom of the bag and clip to the d ring at the top of the center back panel. Sorry if I’m over explaining.
i know you sometimes do Swoon patterns, do you have a tut for the Glenda clutch wallet? or can you do one? i have the pattern , but a little intimidated by it. thank you your tutorials are great
Thank you for this. I've been looking for a simple beginner bag that I could gift to boys and girls. Also, would you please share where you got the Baby Yoda fabric in the finished bag you showed us at the beginning?
You’ve mentioned a few times about a shop you or a family member has. Is it a physical store or only an on line store? If it’s a physical store where is it and if it’s in Florida did it survive Ian.
Hi, so I've just been curious about the leather patches that you have in your videos, how thick are they? New here and loving the content so far, been binge watching it for the last few days, keep up the amazing work!
you are fantastic!!!!!really happy i met your channel!!!!

I can’t wait to see you make it into a back pack
This is great! I'm working on a crochet blanket right now and need a larger bag to put it in! Downloading now...

Jess + Kandou = A Great Combo. This tote will be a fun gift for my knitting friend. Love the choice of 3 sizes. Great tutorial as always Jess.
Going to watch this when I go home from work
This would be a great lunch bag!
I think this is a great pattern and it makes me think to make it for my granddaughter who when she visits has a big bag to stuff with all her goodies.
No way!!! I was hoping to see this tutorial!! Thank you so much!

Wow!! That didn't disappoint!❤️❤️❤️
Yay been hoping you were doing this one as I brought the pattern when it first launched, now I can make it lol
Hi there! I'm wondering how thick is the leather cording you are using? 2 or 3mm? I love the idea of the leather cording. Thank you kindly.
Thanks for another great video, just going to buy the pattern now :)

I personally would leave the short straps off. Love the bag!
Does the leather cording stretch when you close the bag?
I’m thinking pool bag…… 🤔🥰
I can see it as a backpack.
Thank you for this. I've been looking for a simple beginner bag that I could gift to boys and girls. Also, would you please share where you got the Baby Yoda fabric in the finished bag you showed us at the beginning?
I’m thinking a tennis bag! Looks like the large would hold a racquet and a can of balls

I can't seem to find the pattern for this bag.
