OH my Gosh, you just made me remember one of my "combining of words". One time I told my daughter to put the Bodder Waddles into the Fridge. (I meant Water Bottles). I don't think I've ever heard her laugh so hard since she was born.
Wow! Dick and Jane, what memories. I still have a Dick and Jane book from when I was little. And the embroidered Sunbonnet Sues those I would say are from the early 70’s. I stitched one in home economics class when I was in Junior High. I still have it somewhere, it was made into a pillow cover. Your Soda Pop stitch is adorable. Such a sweet memory you have for your stitch. I’ve thought about buying a pattern but just haven’t done it. Not a fan of backstitching but they are adorable patterns. I am looking forward to retiring the beginning of June. So I will have more stitching time and staying up late stitching. I am more of a night owl, I hate having to get up early (4:45am) to go to work. I just found your FlossTube, someone had mentioned you on theres. Now to go back and watch your previous videos.
I wanted to stitch a rose piece in memory of my mom. I was looking at the options and was thrilled to find a pattern of a pink rose with some violets mingled with it because I love violets. She would get violet things for me and I would get rose things for her so it's a perfect representation of the two of us together. I also love your crocheted frog! I just love frogs and have since I was just a girl. Your artistic talent is amazing-water colors-wow!

Soda Stitches are so cute! Yours has sweet memories connected to it. I do the same with words; as did my mom. We dont do it with numbers. There is a name for it, but I can't recall it right now. A local friend does it, too! And 1AM is my sweet time for stitching! The house is quiet, the dogs aren't wanting out every 20 minutes, and I can sit for awhile and stitch without interruption. I often find myself going to bed at 4AM for a few hours sleep! I enjoy your videos! You're so relatable!
I love your whimsical village full coverage choice! Like you, I am not a huge fan of the super realistic full coverage pieces, but this one is just adorable. I am doing a few stitches in honor of my mom who I lost two years ago to dementia. Two of my favorites are based on little songs that she used to sing to us when we were kids. My mother had a horrible singing voice, but we all loved listening to her singing those songs.

I spent hours with both and miss them so much. Your water color pieces are fantastic! Last summer, my daughter and sister did a u-pick ( a bouquet of flowers at a local flower farm) and water color class. We had a fun time. Take care! Happy doing all the things!❤

I think you should finish it as a small soft pillow with a one and a half inch yellow and white gingham. Lol. Whatever you do, keep it soft and simple.
Thank you so much! The key is using a smaller hook and keeping the tension tight. Can be a little hard on the hands if I spend too long at a time working on them. So glad to have other hobbies with different motions

I've always called made up words "Mommanisms". My mom is the queen of made up words. After having kids and aging, I've caught myself using mommanisms on a frequent basis.
I think it is a mom thing🫣 my mom was also the queen of it. Once she was ordering pizza and they were running a special if you used the phrase “beat the heat” you got a discount well she ordered the pizza called meat lovers special and then said “beat your meat special” my sister and I almost peed our pants laughing. She was so embarrassed 🥰😜

Hello I sure do love all your pretty things. I have that Hawk run pattern you are doing but have not started it. Memories just pop into my head at times when I least expect it. Sometimes they make me sad other times they make me happy. I feel like you do about the way I was created and I will just grow old naturally. My father passed away in 2016. I have 4 voice memo tomorrow him . I transfer them to every new iphone. i regret not recording his stories but thank god I have some memorabilia. I truly enjoy recalling my memories with him

Thank you!🥰 the fabric is in the apparel section and it is about a 40ct. The holes are slightly different from regular linen but still works well and is just as easy to see.

I've always called made up words "Mommanisms". My mom is the queen of made up words. After having kids and aging, I've caught myself using mommanisms on a frequent basis.
I think it is a mom thing🫣 my mom was also the queen of it. Once she was ordering pizza and they were running a special if you used the phrase “beat the heat” you got a discount well she ordered the pizza called meat lovers special and then said “beat your meat special” my sister and I almost peed our pants laughing. She was so embarrassed 🥰😜
