I had dreamed of Mackinac forever. My favorite song to play on piano is the Theme to “Somewhere In Time”. My son took me there for my birthday in August. Breathtaking! I didn’t want to leave. As they were transitioning from breakfast to lunch in the main dining room, I asked them if I could play the piano? And yes! I got to play my fav song in the hotel of my dreams. So excited about the documentary about to be released about Christopher Reeves. With such integrity, he handled his accident. Major respect for him.

When I was very little, my parents took me to Mackinac Island and we stayed at the Grand Hotel. I loved everything about the island, the people and this beautiful hotel. Thank you for this wonderful and well done tour.
