Deepin is really beautifully designed an all, but I can't get the sour taste of it being developed in China out of my mouth. Is there some kind of in-depth review about it phoning home or not?
HI, indeed, i am no expert on Linux or code so not sure if it does phone home like Mac or Windows, i will look online or scan the forums to see if anyone has done an in-depth analysis on the code. but yes its a beautiful desktop and i like that the design is uniform across apps, ive since dumped Deepin(had some issues with the app store and some other things, maybe not a Deepin issue but a lack of skills on my side) and installed Cachy OS, my daily driver is ArcoLinux, been on for 3yrs and never had an issue on my Thinkpad T430, i also run Void on my Thinkpad x201
Lekker, it's always good to try different things.
