I have been into music all my life and thought I knew all of it but just discovered Levon and the Band it's the best I have ever seen and heard un be fucking real
"This man of color LOVES the Band.I discovered them since "the weight" from there found out that they toured with my all time musical hero Bob Dylan( back when they were called the Hawks) by then, they became known as THE BAND.They would record six studio albums right up to "THE LAST WALTZ when they would call it quits.Seven years later, they would get back together again to your(without Robbie Robertson, but that's alright) sadly,we would lose Richard Manual two years later in '86 we would also lose Rick Danko in 1999, and dear, sweet talented Levon Helm in 2015. Their music will always endure R.I.P to LEVON HELM,RICK DANKO and RICHARD MANUAL.
I love seeing Garth Hudson get so much camera time. He was the best musician in the band of superb musicians, and deserved more attention than he got most of the time.
I LOVE HOW "THE BAND" ,AND "LEVON HELM", SINGS THIS SONG....SOUNDS GREAT, RIP LEVON, YOU WILL NEVER DIE, WITH YOUR SONGS PLAYING FOR AGES..... THE FIRST TIME I HEARD " THE BAND", WAS WHEN I CAME BACK FROM VIETNAM. IN THE MOVIE... "EASY RIDER", SINGING..."THE WEIGHT", ANOTHER GREAT SONG!!! NOW, I AM 75 YEARS OLD AND STILL LISTENING TO "THE BAND".....
its called talent..class....mojo...you know it when you see it...and brothers and sisters i have just seen the light..mister levon helm meant a lot to a lot of people..”man they call that rock and roll”...
Did anyone else notice that Rick Danko seemed to be hidden thru the whole video? I watched it again looking for him and did not spot him until around 1:13 mark. Showed up a few more times in background but no microphone near him. This is a Band Reunion concert and Danko does not even sing background. Hard to tell if he was one of the back up musicians or one of the stars.

Levon had the beat. How could you not resonate with him? At 85 I still feel like 15 when I hear a throw-back like this. Rock and Roll was inevitable.
Thanks to the miracle of Payola!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Levon is the man ,he has soul.
I have been into music all my life and thought I knew all of it but just discovered Levon and the Band it's the best I have ever seen and heard un be fucking real

I CONCUR R.I.P.💙*
Love seeing Richard Manuel on the drums, fantastic how multi-talented each member of the Band was!

What is the bass player's name?
Ron Eoff
I'm a dunce: can someone please tell me what key harmonica that is?
Key to the highway.
He's playing in second position. Band is in G, Levin plays a C diatonic harp.
That's a tiny sax!
C melody sax! Great playing, but hard to keep in tune! Garth and Leon=the BEST!
