Did my first lazer flip yesterday when I landed the first one I landed a couple more. It’s actually just like a treflip but you need the timing perfect. The scoop and flick is the same power as a treflip but if you don’t jump at the right time even if you give it all your power your weight on the board will stop the rotation so try to ignore the scoop and flick and focus on the pop and jump you don’t need a lot of power at all If you jump at the perfect time your weight will be off the board and it will be like a treflip
This is one of the best skating channels on UA-cam, I would LOVE if you did a video about you and how you started skating and what you do for a living and how YouTubing is going honestly. I love seeing (with comfortable limitations) the life of these youtubers who give us such great content like you and one of my other favorites Ashton Kelley! You should consider giving us a bio video sometime dude! Thanks again for the great videos
I've laser flipped a 6 stair and off ramps yet have never done them on flat ground. Good tip to go off a ramp or something.. edit the only one I can remember on flat I did on the indoor skatepark where it was super slippery and I basically slid it 45 degrees.. which is just like you said in the video with indoor ground.. Good advice to do them off things - you can keep your foot way higher. I've also never front 3 shuved
@Munchi: It literally never was though.... The laser flip, ie. the 360 heel flip is a very old trick Mullen invented all the way back in 1983-1984. We didn't even have skateboarding games back then... And the Tony Hawk Pro Skater games had laser flips since the first game. (Down Right , Square to do one!). It wasn't a special trick.
Just finished my short tutorial on these, definitely my favorite trick of all time. They are a bit easier on flat if you tilt your back foot more sideways!
Props man, I got fs 3 shuvs as well. Sure they are a little difficult but once you understand how to push your back foot infront of you they stay right underneath your feet, idk why more people don't have them. Good luck with lazers tho, I've landed two so far, I think its a lot different to the 3 shuv
@@averageuser5196 What's the name of this trick? The board moves the exact same motion as a handstand fingerflip, but the skater is just jumping up after pressing down on the edge of the board with both feet to flip it? Board and skater land about a foot behind where the trick was launched.
@@averageuser5196 No, the trick i'm describing, what is it? Board moves like a handstand fingerflip. But the skater is standing and jumps after stomping the edge.
@@user-pf5xq3lq8i sorry! Well if you're speaking about a handstand kickflip/ finger flip, where the rider does a handstand and does a kickflip with their hands. Then perhaps what you're talking about is a type of pressure flip. If the board was doing a kickflip rotation then it would be a pressure kickflip. Pressure flip variations are when you build pressure between your board and your wheel, combine that with some small back foot movements like scooping forward/backwards/sidewards and it will flip the board without having to use your front foot. When someone refers to a pressure flip its generally an inward heelflip rotation but you can pressure flip basically any trick, so in this case it might be a pressure kickflip (also known as rolly flip) you're referring to. Which would make lots of sense because pressure kickflips requires you to jump back very far. If it's not that I'm kind of unsure what it may be without seeing it for myself!
Im gonna try this fakie bc i feel like it comes to me easier but regular trying this my board flies away its so hard to keep it under me, im try it fakie and see what happens

i’m on my lazer flip quest this year
SAME PLAN AS I. FINALLY GOT MY FIRST TODAY 🎉

I’m so bad at doing front shuv tricks but I somewhat recently learned v heels so this is the next goal
who remembers when this was a special move only made up in the minds of totally baked game developers
i remember when it use to be a mod to have this trick.
SAS Productions what game was this a mod in

The laser flip is the tre flip's evil hot twin
🎨
I can do the rotation every single time, but it’s difficult for me to keep it under me. Any tips?
lean back before you pop. that way you jumpa bit more with the board.
hope this helps.
Can you do a updated version of this
You actin like it got patched or something 💀💀
I’ve only landed one on flap, I’ve recently just got my lasers back I’m close to landing it
i love this video haha and not just because i love this trick
Used to have this 1 and nollie but this is 1 of the few tricks that u can lose easy
Love Seguin skatepark
Fs 3shuvs are kinda easy... The problem for me is the flick... I can't do the heel rotation
Yeah Lazers are way harder on flat no lie
Teach us how to do them like dashawn Jordan
are lazerflips like bs 360 heel flips?
Dylan Hayes no it’s a fs 360 heelflip
@@pastaiscool160 no it’s a fromt 3 Shuv herl
@@maxmoon3091 yes the board goes fs 360 and does a heelflip motion
i can front 3 shuv consistantly on flat but cant seem to add the flip in.. dot know why

@@user-pf5xq3lq8i it's called a laser flip! It's a frontside 360 pop shuvit with a heelflip. Think of it as the opposite to a 360 flip.

How do I keep this trick under my feet and not fly away every time
is it weird to can’t do heelflips but find laserflips easier?
HilariousGaming lol I could only front shuv on carpet and only landed heelflips twice , and already almost got varial heels 😂 laser flips are next
HighOnRedvinezz laserflips are much harder than varial heels
I suck at switch flips but for whatever reason I can switch tre lmao that's how it is sometimes
no same for me
Him: “Who does fs 360 shuvs”
Me: ._.
dont lie
ClubLulu i would never
Yall got the same pic^
Cairo Foster does fs 360 shove its
Im gonna try this fakie bc i feel like it comes to me easier but regular trying this my board flies away its so hard to keep it under me, im try it fakie and see what happens
Fakie is definitely easier, still a bitch tho. Once you got them fakie big heels are easy
factss
cuz fakie front shovs and fakie heels are cake
There's nothing easy about a laser flip. Even a 360 front shuv is ridiculous
I am way better at frontside shuvs than backside 😂
The only way to learn how to do any trick is to go out and practice, you're not gonna learn a trick by watching videos .smh
Agreed. It helps to watch and then grab the skateboard and attempt to apply what the video explains
