Loved the tutorial! I agree with everyone, well done and easy to follow and understand... But is there a way to do it without the separation of the top and bottom?
I always trying to follow tutorials, but it never works for me. This is the first tutorial that actaully I could recreate. Thank you !!! It was easy to understand and helpful.
I am from Bangladesh. I am learning Photoshop in a training center in order to earn money. I've watched so many video. But now I'am astonished how a person can be such a expert in photoshop. Please show me the way to earning money using photoshop so I can support my family. Thank you so much. God bless you.
Gee, I was starting to wonder if someone had rung your bell at the soccer game and you forgot to publish this! :-) THANKS! Keep them coming! BTW, did you win?
OH NO! Hope you didn't get the bug that's been circulating around on the East coast. It knocked me down for a couple of days......HOPE YOU ARE DOING BETTER.
Cool tutorial, man!! Maybe it wood look a bit more realistic with some Font that is more "curved/rounded", as in an actual/real neon sign (where the neon cord/cable/wtv is curved by hand and so it doesn't look square - as in the font you used) just saying... Other font and it rocks, great job man!!!!!
this is amazing but damn you go through it fast... advice is.. as a follow through tutorial ( i was doing this with my own photoshop open) it was impossible to note and do everything at the speed you were doing it so had to keep pausing. A great tutorial but damn.. the speed.. not for beginners.
WAY TO QUICK YOU ARE CLICKING OFF THE OPTION SOMEBODY WHO IS DOING IT FOR THE FIRST TIME MY GOD I NEEDED TO GO BACK 20X IN ORDER TO CAPTURE WHAT THE HECK YOU HAVE HIT.
My thoughts exactly. What's the need for the horizontal line down the center of the word? It looks odd since I've never seen neon signs that were "top-heavy" like that. But I guess to each their own, eh? Personally, that would drive me crazy. I'd want the letters to all be uniform.
Oh. Duhhh. Just figured it out. Just change the location of the two center stops on the stroke gradient effect. When they are at the same location it creates that line. If you tweak them and offset them left and right slightly you can smooth out that line.

I dont understand how the top half of the letters got that extra dimension

I guess I was curious about that also.
